Which did you buy - Pixel 2 or 2 XL ?

Had the Note 7, then they recalled it and was "forced" to get the Pixel XL (just didn't wanna go back to an older Samsung)...... absolutely fell in love with it!!! But was then mesmerized by the sexy looks of the Samsung S8 but then realized I missed the pure Android experience and here I am back with Pixel 2 XL and am lovin' every minute of it. Still waiting on my update though (for the screen thing...). I love the natural look anyway

I got the 2 xl and love it. Was worried about all the bad press but really I can't find anything wrong. I only remember there is a blue shift when I actually look for it. Some times I miss the smaller size but man when I watch a video I am so glad I got the bigger one.

I got a 64G 2 XL.

Don't regret it one bit... The 'issues' are minor at best and I saw today just how much the problems of this phone have become inflated to ridiculous levels by the tech press.

In practice, this phone is incredible. Anyone that cannels an order sheet reading about the problems.. man.. you will have no idea what you'll be missing out on.

Black Pixel 2 here. Maybe I have bought into sensationalist press but the burn-in reports put me off the xl. Missing the screen real estate a little as I'm coming from an s7 edge, but everything else is running so well that my only regret is maybe I should have gone for the kinda blue (but it's wrapped up in a spigen rugged armour anyway).

I bought both; the XL2 first which is expected to be delivered around mid December. Then my current phone died and got the 2 this week.

It's an excellent phone, snappy and battery is not bad too. I haven't pop my SIM in yet, but have been fiddling with the settings and leaving most of the features on (location, notification, weather, traffic, etc) the whole day. I took it off the charger approx 6 hrs ago and I still have 76% left with current SOT of 1 hr +.

The camera is just wow. Camera is probably one of my least use app on any of my phones but with this one, I kept going back to the camera and take pictures of random stuff around the house.

Same here. I first got the pixel 2, but thought I'd prefer the larger screen, so I returned it for the 2 xl. But I never really felt comfortable about giving up the pixel 2, as it felt really premium in hand. But I returned it for the 2 XL. But then I ended up returning the 2 xl and ordered the pixel 2 again.

I got the 2xl and then playing with it a day or so the blue tint was really annoying me...so order the 2 to try it. I've been on larger phones last few so thought I'd miss the screen real estate and keep the xl. But after a week with both sending back the xl. Actually loving the size of the regular 2 and battery life has been great (my other concern). Oddly coming from the original XL - the 2 XL actually felt larger and more awkward to hold in hand...
