Edge is attractive, novel and a little delicate and some are prone to cracks from what I have read. Otherwise a great device with a marginally capable battery.

I would go with the rugged, resistant, higher battery capacity Active.

Have you seen one available on your carrier/ network.
AFAIK they are only on AT&T in the US.
