I was going to get the Samsung case, but saw this similar looking one for much, much less. Which would everyone here recommend?

Thank you.

It's NOWHERE near the Samsung one, BUT it's not bad. If you want something thin and that has the slim keyboard like the stock case (a-la-Surface), then these type of cases are NOT it. The keyboard is a lot chunkier compared to the Samsung one, and while removable, the case itself is thicker and heavier (not by a lot). Just like the stock case, the option you link only has one viewing angle, and that is always an issue for ME (especially if you want to use the pen to take notes).

My suggestion? Buy a tri-fold case with multiple viewing angles (both Infinlad and Poetic have options with a pen holder) and buy a separate keyboard (I found a nice, foldable one WITH a trackpad, which these cases lack).

For me the choice is clear. I got the official Samsung Book Cover case and it works well.
I loathe Bluetooth keyboards due to connectivity problems.
The pogo pins are much more reliable.

The ONLY minor issue/request about the official Samsung Keyboard is I wish there was some backlight on the keys. With the keyboard being smaller than a standard keyboard, seeing the keys would be helpful. I make a lot more typing mistakes at night than I do in the day.
