The 16 GB or the 64?

The 64GB is $299. Pretty good considering the storage and the RAM.

Considering that the 64gb also doubles the ram, if I were to get a g4p, I would get the 64gb.

I'm now curious where Moto G Play pricing will fall.

I just got the Moto G4 Plus. So far for a budget device I have no complaints. It's actually built very well compared to the Note 7 I came from. This phone feels like it can take a drop. I have a case on it that's pretty sturdy so I have a lot of confidence that it will survive falls.

yeah mine has fell a few times now, I have a simple hybrid case and tempered glass protector. So far not a nick or scratch.

It was $80 this morning for paid prime members, the amazon version at least.

I elected not to put a screen protector on mine. Just a case.

You should be alright as far as no scratches. Just be sure to not forget to never put your phone in the same pocket as your keys.

When I was using my Moto G³ daily, I was at staples picking up a heavy case of paper to put in the the cart, I end up resting the case on my right thigh for a moment before lifting up over and into the cart. Well shortly later I took my phone out to make a call and my screen appeared to be completely cracked. The case of paper must've pushed my keys into the phone's screen.

Luckily, when I got home and took off the tempered glass protector, the screen was completely fine. That's why I'll always put a tempered glass layer on top for now on. I'm sure gorilla glass won't scratch, heck the tempered glass protector doesn't even scratch at all. but for something like keys or a tin of dip pushing into your screen, the 7 dollar tempered glass protector will take the blow and save your screen.

Well, it does have Gorilla Glass 3 but I still put a $4 tempered glass on it. It doesn't detract from the aesthetics or the touch responsiveness so 'why not' was my reasoning. Now I have to root and ROM this thing since that was my excuse for getting it.
