Which one too go for s10 or s10+

This is my battery life on my regular S10 from yesterday. Battery life is more than adequate. Coupled with the perfect form factor, I think you would be happy with the regular S10. I know I am!

And that's with AOD active! Man, I gotta wait to get paid to get this phone, too. Kinda hurts.

Snapdragon. AT&T model.

Well great signs so far for your variant.

Too early to tell but I'm in the UK with Exynos version and battery is barely lasting a full day but I need to give it a week possibly. Only on Day 3 yet!

Fingers crossed is gets better 🙄

I hope it gets better for you bro! Yesterday was day 3 for me.

The smaller one is slowly feeling more adequate with each passing day. Your point about battery life is interesting, as it was going to be the main reason I switch to the Plus. I really am torn. Already ordered 2 cases for the regular 10, including my leather Samsung case which just arrived. Your battery life observation may just sway me to hold onto the regular S10.

And yes, the iPhone X and Xs are smaller, that's why I was surprised that the S10 "feels" smaller. I have both in my midst as we speak. Maybe its the tapered edges?

I did some quick calculations of some phones I've either owned or been familiar with, here is the overall volume of each (in cubic millimeters):

Note 9: 108,848.608
Note 8: 104,533.
S9 Plus: 99,176.13
OnePlus 6T: 96,604.2
S8 Plus: 94,829.13
S10 Plus: 91,089.648
S9: 86,249.415
S10: 82,313.088
S8: 81,120.72
iPhone X: 78,395.548

And then what I call one-handed volume... this throws out height since that's not as big of a consideration as width and thickness:

Note 9: 672.32
Note 8: 643.28
S9 Plus: 627.3
OnePlus 6T: 613.36
S8 Plus: 594.54
S9: 583.95
S10 Plus: 577.98
S10: 549.12
iPhone X: 545.93
S8: 544.8

I'd be curious to know what you end up doing. Keep me updated!
I am returning the regular s10 today. I had to choose as I was heading towards keeping them both!

In the end the finish and in-hand feel swung it. The ceramic feels awesome and makes the regular feel a little cheap in comparison (which of course it's not) I also became less of a fan of the prism white as time went on. These were real nit picks and there is no wrong answer here, both are great, other than the FPS which I'm no fan of tbh.

It was a tough call and honestly if the regular was available with the ceramic I probably would have gone with that one.

The ceramic really is something. Couldn't be happier with the device. I had the first Mi Mix which had a ceramic back and loved it. If it wasn't for the crappy signal I had I would have kept it. Could be happier to have a ceramic back again.

I think in the end we'll be happy with whatever choice we make because we'll get used to whichever phone we keep, and both are tremendous.

My update: I actually bought and used the Plus for an evening. I ended up returning it and keeping the regular S10.

The one I got was not a ceramic variant though. I think the ceramic (black especially) is awesome and have loved that finish on a phone ever since the Mi Mix, but I really love the Prism White as well.

Just wanted to update my decision and see what you guys went with! Enjoy your Plus, I know I'm enjoying my S10 :D

S10+ to S10e to S10

I think I finally found the size which I prefer, started with too big and then too small, then middle ground

Haha. That might be our new record. Can't go wrong with any of them, that's for sure. Just depends on what exactly you want from your phone and what things you value over others. Welcome to the "regular" S10 club :P

Thanks !!! The past week has been crazy and couldn't get any work done properly. All settled now and got to get back to regular schedule

I know the feeling! Kinda felt like an ***** for how much thought and effort I was putting into which one to choose. I'm usually a lot more decisive. But I couldn't really make a final decision before getting both of them in hand for more than a few minutes.

I ruled out the S10E right away just because I much preferred the black camera housing and in-screen fingerprint reader. I think the Prism White regular S10 is just the most beautiful phone I've ever seen! Loving that Samsung went back to a shiny, polished metal chassis.

EDIT: Was the word !diot really filtered out? I was only talking about myself :P

Yeah prism white is such a beautiful color on the S10. Same here as well

So I currently have the Prism White S10 for Verizon. I went to swappa.com and purchased the S10 plus. It will arrive on Monday. I like the S10, battery life is good, but I want to try the larger S10. I was going to send it back to Samsung but I wanted to keep the buds. I'll see which one I want to keep curing this week.

On AT&T, I have had the standard Galaxy variant with the exception of the GS5. I reluctantly avoided the plus Galaxy variant until the GS9. Once you go plus, you can never go back although at 6.4 inches, I have found my max size limit.

By upgrading to the GS10+ from the GS9+, I gained an extra front and an extra rear camera. Longer battery life. Faster processor. More memory and storage. A thinner and lighter device. More screen real estate. Better and brighter display. Faster wireless charging. Reverse wireless charging. Vapor cooling tunnel to mitigate overheating. Wifi 6.
