Which one too go for s10 or s10+

My train of thought is quite similar to yours. The ceramic black is my favorite color, but I valued the size of the S10 more, plus I really like the prism white, so I went with the white S10. If the ceramic black were offered in the regular S10, I probably would have gotten that color. But I know I don't want the Plus, so I wasn't going to get it for a color.
It's not the colour but more the finish. I don't use a case so the extra durability of the ceramic is an attractive feature.

Oh and I'm still unsure whether to go ceramic white or black, have ordered both but need to cancel one!

I'm in the exact same situation as you. My initial gripe with the S10+ was the larger notch but after going into my local Samsung store and playing with them both, I decided to go with the S10+. When playing videos full screen I realised neither notch bothered me; I found that I naturally focused in on the centre of the screen and didn't notice or was bothered by the notch tbh.

Just got done playing with the plus at best buy. The phone feels small and light compared to my note 9. Should fit good in the hand with a case on it. The 10 and 10e were so small. Not that it was even an option, but I'm glad I went with the plus.

I agree , for myself the other 2 versions were too small went with the plus

Ugh. Gsmarena tests the s10 battery as lasting 79 hours while the S10+ as lasting 93 hours. Now regretting ordering the s10...

The ceramic white is more of an off-white, just FYI. Personally, my favorite part is the unique gold chassis on the ceramic white. But other than that, it's ceramic black all the way for me. I think you'll agree when you see them in person! Can't really go wrong with either though tbh.

I wish ceramic wasn't tied to 512gb. I want one but it's too expensive for me.

Finally I got a chance to play with the phone at best buy and I just said the black is way nicer looking compare to the white. I actually very like the 10e if it has 6.1".

I think I will go buy the S10 (compare to S10+ I think the size is very similar) in black color at best buy on launch date.

Im stuck between the s10e and regular size s10, I like the s10e size but no fingerprint through the display ...The reg s10 is slightly taller than the reg s9 and thats holding me up...Im used to an iphone 8 but the display is getting too small for my eyes...I will wait till I see them both in person to decide

It's in their YouTube review.

That's for the Exynos version. If you're in the US, you aren't getting that version, so no reason to get people bent out of shape. The Snapdragon should be more efficient from what I understand. I'm going to wait until I see Snapdragon tests and get the phone in my own hands before I make a judgment.

S10. Don't like the pill style hole punch and I don't care about the extra selfie cam depth sensor of the S10+. The S10 will be much easier to use one handed as well. Battery life will be a little worse but that's not near as much of an issue for me as I'm not a power user. Just my personal preference of course.

I pre-ordered the S10+ unocked from Samsung. At almost 80 years of age my old eyes and unsteady hands need the larger display. Also, I use Bluetooth to stream from my phone to my hearing aids. That consumes a lot of battery, so I need the larger battery on the S10+.

The S10+ I think is the perfect size. With the screen being the same size as the Note 9, but the body itself smaller, it should fit better in the hand! I've always had Notes and always liked the big screens.

How is the battery drain on your ear pieces by doing that? I assume those aren't rechargeable either? My father has to replace his batteries every week but he doesn't stream to his (before those type came out).

Going from an S9+ to an S10. Same screen size in a smaller body for $350 after I trade in the S9+...no brainer. I pay cash for my phones, and looking at the large drop in a 2-year old trade-in (my wife's s8) it doesn't make any financial sense to wait. I would much rather pay around $350 per year for a new phone (+ a nice bonus like freebie galaxy buds), and have the newest phone every year, than cough up $900 every 2 years and deal with an old model for a year while I wait. Even if I would wait until this coming x-mas, the best sales for cash purchases of unlocked are usually not more than $200 off MSRP. Samsung also didn't offer any more $$ for trade-in of an s9+ vs s9, so no financial benefit to go bigger there.

The screen on the s9+ (and therefore s10) is big enough even for my aging eyes, and the small difference in screen size to the s10+ is not worth the ergonomic negatives of the larger phone size. My s9+ in its Spigen case barely fits in my running buddy pouch at the gym, so I'm looking forward to that benefit alone on a daily basis.

10 plus 512 ceramic black pre-ordered but I am wavering. The regular S10 screen looks a little wider and just a little larger than the S9 in a good way whilst looking more manageable. The single cutout is also nicer imo.

Only the ceramic finish on the plus is tipping the balance in the plus favour right now.

That was my dilemma as well, the beautiful ceramic black vs. the perfect size of the regular S10. I really liked the Prism White anyway, so I went with the usability aesthetic and feel of the regular S10 in that color over the S10 Plus in that stunning Ceramic Black.
