Which other device uses TBolt battery

Did a search on which other battery can be used in the Tbolt, but found no answers. Does anyone know? Trying to get an extended battery(possibly 1800mAh) that won't replace the battery door.

I don't think there are any at this time

HTC used to use the same form factor for all their phones (Inc, EVO, TouchPro 2, etc...) but since this phone has a speaker under the kickstand HTC had to use a shorter but wider battery

Your only option at this point is a 1600 mAh battery from Seidio that has the same form factor and does not require a new door

I think i read the mytouch 4g is simmilar but not 100% sure

You can get 3 generic batteries and a wall charger on ebay for around $10-12 shipped. They say they will work in the mytouch 4g or the TB. I used the same batteries made for my retired Facinate & Incredible and they work great. They will not charge in the Facinate though. They did however in the Incredible. I believe they are the same mah / power as the standard TB battery. It's worth the $ either way.

Sorry but the TB has a 1400mah batt. where the Dinc has a 1300MAH, this does not matter because the Dinc Batt. is a completely different sice then the Tbolt's.

so that solution wont work.

seidio has a 1600mah that fits the Tbolt with no exteneded door and HTC is coming out with a 2500mah *maybe 2700 im unsure of the MAH that will come with the extened door cover.

Sorry I didn't make myself a little more clear. What I was trying to say is, I have used similar aftermarket batteries in both the Facinate and Incredible and they work fine. They were the same China brand but made for those two manufacturer's /models. Just be aware the ones they make for the TB may not charge in the phone and can only be charged in the wall charger. Hope this helps...

I would love to be able to only charge the phone once or twice a day. I guess I'll be bump charging the stock battery until they produce different sizes, which I hope is soon. Really don't want the extra bulge or weight that's accompanied with the 2750mAh extended battery. Can wait till my phone is delivered on Monday.
