I just got the D2. Traded in my BB Tour. It's weird getting used to, but I think I'm gonna love it more than my Tour. I am gonna miss BBM though :(

I dropped my BlackBerry Storm2 9550 on a rock by accident. Then suffered for a month with my old 8830WE until I bought the Droid2. I'm not looking back.

From BlackBerry

I just got my Droid 2 on Friday. Switched from BlackBerry Storm 9530 and I couldn't be happier.

I had an eris for a while flashed froyo and decided I wanted a phone with an official version of froyo. My D2 is in my hands and already rooted.

It is amazing how many of you got rid of your BB's to get a Droid. An excellent decision I must say. I never understood why people liked BB's in the first place. They seemed cheap, fragile, slow, and what's with that little ball thing you had to use to do anything. Welcome to the amazing world of Androids, you'll enjoy it.

Set up all your email accounts on a bb and then you'll get it. Still didn't stop me from switching but bb email push rules the roost.

Upgrading from The original BB Storm. That phone as bad as it was never let me down. After using the Droid 2 for a week I am very disappointed in the battery life. My almost 2 year old storm would outlast this phone in battery life. However the Droid 2 is extremely fast in comparison. Almost like comparing a 77 ford pinto to a 2010 Ford fusion. Anyway this is my first post and I will be looking around to find battery workarounds and such to help me further enjoy this phone.

I will be moving from the Storm 2, but have to wait for the global Droid 2 that is due out in November. Other wise I will just wait. Looked at the HTC but it does not do what I need.

I use mine for business and that is not a good choice for me.

I'm switching from a Blackberry Tour to a Droid 2. It won't be here until Tuesday though. I've been a Blackberry user for a few years now but am getting tired of their slow updates and lack of apps. I chose the Droid 2 because I'm not sure I can give up the physical keyboard just yet.

I originally had a bb curve. I then went with the HTC Incredible and I was very disappointed in the phone call quality. So... I now have a Droid 2 and I really love it!!

Push Email

That was my biggest concern in switching from BlackBerry. However, with my u-verse email account on Yahoo, and Good Mobile Messaging for work, I get all of my personal and business emails without having to do any work. They show up on my D2 and the green notification light lets me know I have messages. Everything else about my D2 blows BB out of the water, in my opinion. I'm going on 2 weeks and can't believe how much happier I am with my phone!!

Switched over from BB Curve 8530 and Bold 9650 that I had less than a month. I liked the Bold but everyone I know is going away from BB so I thoight I would give this a try. So far I am overwhelmed by all the things you can do with this phone and the apps available. I have a lot of phone usage with my work so that is going to be a big test for me. On vacation right now so getting a lot of time to play with it right now. So far it's awesome.

I went from a Tour to Android. Now going back to Bold 9650, as battery life is terrible on Droid 2 and Droid X. I also like being able to see my screen outdoors, which is not possible on the Droids. Androids are good, but the Bold 9650 will do me fine, especially with OS 6 coming.

I still don't have a problem with seeing my phone outside. But a far as battery life hmm mine isn't that bad I'm making it through a day and seeing the power that these phones have it's a great trade.

All that I can figure is that you live in a cloudy environment, lol.
