Moved from Samsung Saga world phone. I hated winmo but loved that it was a world phone. I kept it for my deployments (Navy) but will never go back to winmo for my full time phone.

Coming from a BB Storm (personal) and an original Droid (work).

The Fascinate is just a superior device in all ways to the BB and it really makes the Droid feel outdated and clunky.

Love the screen, the slim form factor, the speed, the lightness, the camera and the keyboard. It's a top-notch smartphone all others are chasing (at the moment).

The Fascinate is my first Smart phone. So far i love everything about it except the GPS which takes forever to lock on.

I ordered the DX today. I've been a die-hard BB user for years...8830WE was my first Berry. I'm a little worried about transferring all my info and will stick closely to forum posts for advice. Any tips are appreciated, though.

kicked my Storm to the curve. Android is a must have due to open source and hackability. Chose the FASN8 due to the hardware: graphics proc, screen, lightness factor. Software (Bing, bloat, etc) is correctable, hardware isn't. Looked at the X and just like the FASN8 better, i think size, no phys buttons, screen.

and coming from BB Storm1, I am literally blown away. The overall FASN8 experience is amazing in comparison.

coming from VZW Samsung Omnia i910 w/ WinMo 6.5. buggy, terrible keyboard input & response, GPS sucked.... really jaded my opinion of software keyboards.

picked up a SF from BestBuy during free phone fridays in October since i was ready for an upgrade. WOW. speedy in spite of lag complaints. an occasional momentary lapse in 1's and 0's is fine by me. GPS could lock on faster, but once it's on, it works just fine. keyboard input is awesome, especially w/ Swype and voice to text. i haven't rooted yet. i'm hopeful for Froyo. but in any case, i love the phone.

I went through 4 replacements in the year and a half I had it. On its last leg, the battery just couldn't take it anymore. A 5 min phone call from a full charge would leave me at 15% after it.

Holy crap. Is Verizon still even practicing the policy they had where if you have to replace the same device more than 3 times, you can get a different device of equal or lesser value? It sounds like you should have been eligible for that...

In all honesty, the idea of a "click screen" is unique, but in practice I think it's horrible. It actually becomes very annoying after a short period of time, and I know quite a few people who felt the same way.

I may have worded that wrong. I had 4 phones, so 3 replacements. If I needed 1 more I could have got something different. But of course, that last one knew it better not give me any crap. :p

iphone. the battery has been going dead on me. i'm still learning how it works but so far am impressed. hopefully i'll love it even more once i know how to work it for me.

Coming from a Samsung i760 running Windows Mobile 6.1. To be honest it's been a nice device - but the world has passed it by. It is SLOW and it crashes all too often. If it weren't for Opera Mini and few other apps I couldn't have lasted this long.

I've tweaked and customized and overclocked it so I'm ready to start playing with Android. tbh I've wanted an Android device since I heard about the Open Handset Alliance, and I use Linux daily. The only reason I didn't jump on board sooner was VZW's manditory data plans (was doing fine with just Wifi for years so waiting for LTE isn't a concern for me) and I was waiting for my "perfect phone". The Merge was/is my dream phone, but there's so much potential in the Fascinate I think I can try to learn to go without a physical KB (and for $0.00 I'm willing to give it one heck of a try).
