Which phone are you upgrading to (if you are)?

I'd buy the triumph if the price was right. Modding and development community support or not. i think its a great phone even if stock only.

You really are a gluten for punishment arent you?

I wish people would stop saying that phone is a decent phone. Its proven that it is crap. So many issues and that is recently. No phone should HAVE to be rooted and a custom rom installed for it to work properly.

I havr the Triumph and it is ok...that's why HTC ONE V look like a slight upgrade. I don't care for the V EVO 4G. it's like an upgrade EVO 3D. I want a fresh phone. More close to the stock ICS.

I'll take a 1 year old top of the line phone before a brand new mid level phone. Fresh phone or not, it's still one of the best phones out on CDMA. The Evo 3d was waaay ahead of it's time, even 2 year old EVo 4g's run fast enough and these have more than twice the power.

By the way, the processor in the 3d isn't a 1.2 dual core, it's actually an underclocked 1.5 dual core, and you can unlock it.

I hope they start selling the the EVO ahead of the official release date like they did the OV. Going to miss paying a measly $25 a month for phone service, but it will be worth it.

Wait, they disabled the 3d? Ridiculous. For what reason?

Not upgrading. ICS is getting better and I won't move unless the 3d gets ICS. That and I am poor. When it is released I hope eBay prices come down. I have to buy a new V.

3D will be shipped with ICS from what reports are saying.

Looks like it will be the HTC One V for me. Just checked 4g coverage and won't have it in my area. Besides, I really don't like the size of the Evo. I don't feel like carrying a brick around in my pocket. A 1 gig CPU, 3.7"screen and ICS is enough for me. Anyway, I can't see spending $300 for a phone. (Even if my wife would let me.)

Just read that the release date is officially may 31 for the evo3d.

Not sure if this was out yet on here.

Looks nice.

I agree to a point, the size is borderline in my opinion, but the greater size and resolution is nice. I won't go below 4in, but I also don't want more than 4.3. Smaller and the screen just can't fit anymore data, much larger and it's a hassle to carry. I looked at some 4.65 and 5inch screens the other night, and they dwarfed my Evo. No thank you. I'll buy a real Tablet at that point. Guys should be okay with a thin framed 4.3, your pockets are bit bigger.

The OneV won't be bad, it's similar in performance to the Evo 4G (but smaller screen), which I have, and it is really nice to use. The only thing it can't handle, based on reports, is GTA3 (I haven't even tried). Otherwise for almost anything else, it's plenty fast. I certainly don't think any OV users will be disappointed with it. Triumph users will merely get a nicer phone and smaller screen, but I would buy the OneV long before a Triumph(unless the OneV turns out to be a bad phone, which I doubt). In fact, I plan on getting one for my mom to replace her Blackberry.

I guess ima stick with the OV. I want the EVO but unless i magically find the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow i wont get it anytime soon :(

Cnet repoerted that it is still there and is controled by a switch on the phone.

I hit up VM on Twitter about it, they should get back at some point. The Verge is saying the 3d camera is there but the screen has been replaced. As silly as it may sound, the 3d fun was part of the $300 deal for me. I'm not so sold on it if they removed it.

I will probably buy the evo if it comes out, I read that wi-max is coming out this summer hope it does and I would like to have better than only the evo or HTC line. Let see what happens with sprint and VM

The Evo V will probably the best phone you will get on Virgin for the next year, maybe year and a half and honestly, I don't get that sort of comment. The reality is, that this phone is relatively comparable to a Nexus or Galaxy S2. It's not some old, pile of junk, it's still a current, high end phone.

The One V will probably be the second best phone they will have for the next 6 months to a year (unless you count the Triumph or possibly a cheaper 4g phone).

As for the Wimax comment, that is what the Evo V is.. Wimax 4g on Virgin.
