Which phone are you upgrading to (if you are)?

Well, I just ordered an Elite. Misguided? Maybe. We'll see when it gets here. It's not like me to buy something the day it comes out, so hopefully I won't see blowout deals on it in the next few weeks (VM has a $35 account credit deal, but only for new accounts). $149.99 already seems like a pretty rock-bottom price considering the Slider is still $179.99 on VM's site.

I'll keep the OV around for the 30 day return period, then it's going on ebay I guess, unless someone here wants it.

Agreed and good logic.. It's a nice handset relax.. My OV is in excellent condition as it never see's the light of day from under it's armor lol..Thx might try that on the Evo V.. Trade Ya lol..

Thinking about switching to AT&T and getting the HTC Vivid...but if I don't want to pay the deposit...then I'll stay with VM for the Virgin Mobile Evo 3D

The Evo V does not look like a tough handset on the drop.. It's going to need a lot of help!!

Solid alum. frame that extends to the outside just like the Evo 4G.
Think about how thin the bezel is on an Evo 4g, the screen would be toast in a plastic frame like the OV.

No armor needed, they are tough. Look at pics of used ones on ebay, you will see dings and dents and scratches, but nothing severe. I have seen some olderEgo 4g's that were beat to heck, but just kept right on going. Most look look good though.

Yepper.. I was looking at extended batteries for the evo and cases and such.. That is a big handset over the OV and in full armor and a holster it's a big ugly handset.. I like it!! If I brick it it's ok cuz it looks like a brick lol.. But seriously it's way meaner looking than a OV imo.. And that screen size jez.. I could retire the puter.. Not gonna happen but I bet I could with the evo V's big screen.. Sadly I'm trapped in a time bubble as time is defiantly set to the "let me outta school" setting around here.. Tic Tock Tic

I currently have the $40/mo plan and was thinking I'd downgrade to the $35/mo plan when I get the Evo. My current plan is scheduled to be paid on the 21st of this month. Would it be smarter of my to change my plan right now so I don't pay on both the 21st and then again on the 31st (maybe earlier) when I get the new phone?

I'm still deciding but it's starting to look like I'm going to get an Evo V. $300 is a lot, but by all accounts it looks like a solid phone. I'll also have to up my plan from $40 to $45 but oh well.

If nothing else I know there is at least one great dev working on the Evo V. Thanks for all the great work you do, Leslie!

According to LeslieAnn it really won't matter.. If they are smart and by the looks of the Optimus Elite roll out they are!! You will get some perks of equal value to your loss just to ease your pain

The Evo 4g LTE is held up in customs, what does, and does not get caught up by them is always a guess, however, it is a new phone, rather than an older one just relabeled. There is no reason to expect there to be a problem.
