Which to buy

Hi, that depends on you, do you need a phone now ? Can u get one at a great price?

I see you are a newer user here - welcome to Android Central!

As Mustang stated, that depends on you and your invidiaul needs. Also, if you wait until the Note 20 is released, the Note 10 line will drop down even more in price.

Keep us posted on what you decide!

I certainly will.... One more thing should I wait for 5 g or will 4 g still be sufficient? cheers

Depends on 5G availability and how long you plan to keep the phone really.
You could probably just get a Note 10 plus 4G now and then if you like the Note line enough, then sell it again and get the Note 20 in 3-4 months time.

I feel like 5G is still being tweaked - if you want a new phone now or in the next little while, 4G is still quite sufficient for speed! Like the user above me stated, you can always sell your Note and buy the 5G model when it debuts. :)

Welcome to AC! As others have said depends on your needs.

Personally I’d wait as usually the new note comes out around august. But if you need a phone now the note 10 or plus is a great device.

As far as 5G goes, personally, I wouldn’t make it a deciding factor. In most places it’s only small areas that have it-tiny blotches on the coverage map. If you live in an area that has it I’d say go for it but for me I don’t see the point.

5G isn't there yet and has it's own issues.
The Note 10+ streams HD vids fine for me.
The biggest dropped the ball blackeyes for me are no 90-120 hz display, doesn't have the latest bluetooth chipset to support the best lossless codecs and they could have used the faster Snapdragon CPU...
and no 3.5mm jack, of course.

I expect more from their flagship model... and we're not talking much in cost either. Really Samsung?
I really like the Note 10+ 512gb variant a lot but Samsung should have done better especially for that price tag.
They didn't...

Thank you all for the input , but the s20 plus just arrived , and I'm having second thoughts keep it please help me out is the s pen like a mighty sword lol or is it over rated please advise thanx

It's nice when you need it. Mine gets a lot of chill time.
If you do a lot of editing it's nice and has a bunch of cool tools. Works well on my Note 10 plus, easy on resources and battery.

true sorry for being like this especially during these times , so should I keep the s20 plus or just ship it out , and get the note 10plus if you Guys where in my shoes

Depends what you want. The S20 has the high refresh rates for the screen. I personally like the Note's square screen corners better.
Neither has a 3.5 mm jack.
With the Note you can more internal memory and RAM if you want.
The S20 may have a better cam.

Play with it, look over the reviews, DON'T damaged it and think it over.
They're both great phones from what I see.
The Note will probably have Pie loaded if that's something you want... I do!

I just don't want to regret with my decision at the end, also who has left the note series and are know using the s series , and there very pleased with it ...this is basically my concern

I purchased the Note 10 plus

I'm a Galaxy Note fan presently using both the Note 9 and Note 10 Plus daily. Was waiting to see your choice 😀. I've decided to skip this year's Note 20 series because I have low expectations of it. I'll sell my Note 9 soon, buy another Note 10 Plus and wait for the Note 21 Plus. Obviously, I think you made the right choice. 🙂
