Isn't that great... really!?!? I guess she should go get anything but a Thunderbolt.

I'd get locked into the unlimited 4g, so I'd say the Thunderbolt or the Charge. However keep in mind we're getting Gingerbread at the end of the month, the Charge likely won't see an update for a long time.

I will remove the one in he how to section.

By posting in the Thunderbolt thread I can only guess most of the answers will be the Thunderbolt. All the devices you listed are great phones and all different I would recommend having her go to Verizon and play around with each one. Then what ever one she likes the best I would get. Everyone has different needs and likes for a phone so there is no right or wrong answer.

@Moneymike420:
And in terms of the reboot problems that have plagued the T-Bolt, I honestly am going to say this. I just went on a week long vacation to the New York Area. I live in the San Francisco bay area. Living here, my T-Bolt has worked flawlessly! But, when I went to New York for a week, I was plagued, and I mean bad, random reboots. It was the weirdest freaking thing. When I came back home, my phone has acted, well, like it should. I know there is a thread that was started that some people think it's network related and after witnessing what I did, I am thinking along those lines. Don't know why.
If you live in a 3G only area, the T-Bolt can do Voice and data at the same time because of the SVDO radio in the T-Bolt (the Droid Charge does not have that capability). And HTC Sense is really good compared to how TouchWiz is on the Charge (I played with the Charge in the store along with the T-Bolt side by side, rebooting the phones to clear up the memory from people fudging with the phones). The nice thing about the Charge is the unlocked bootloader, so custom ROM's should come easier on the Charge (but, Das BAMF on the Thunderbolt does rock!). Altered Beast is the killer ROM for the Charge right now.
I don't think you could go wrong between the 2. It's basically preference. The T-Bolt battery life is a little worse than the Charge, but I'm always near power outlets.
Hope that helps you out in your decision.

thanks for your input,tbh shes a noob when it comes to phones so she will not be needing to root the phone. i kinda would reccomend the charge because it has the amoled display but yes i heard sense is way better then touchwiz. i just jumped ship from blackberry and got the sensation4g with tmobile and its such a sick phone with the latest software nd stuff.i guess her best bet would be to go to the store and see which she would prefer because i doubt she cares about specs but im just trying to research on which lte phone has the best specs and best battery life atm i guess. thanks again

I took the plung and got a bolt and so far it has been great. If you live in area that gets good reception you prolly won't get any/many reboots and get decent battery life. As of right now all 20 hours of owning my bolt I have been happy.

You're always going to find negative things in a forum... that's how people get things fixed... personally, I have not had any issues with my Tbolt... it's just worked.

Mine too, I can think of no better phone for Verizon right now than the Thunderbolt, mine has worked flawlessly in the Columbus, Ohio area.

The only beef I have with my tbolt is the battery life, however 4G network takes its toll regardless of current brand offering.

Of course, I have my own opinion, but like others have said it all comes down to who will be living with the phone day in and day out, or whomever defaults to making that choice for them.

Those who don't know their way around the tech, and have no intention to root, need to take a hard look at the UI. Ease of navigation and other additions that enhance user experience should be among top considerations.

I got the TB. I like the feel which seems solid and of good quality. I played around with the charge a bit in the store and it also fest good in the hand, light and ergonomic. There is a nice heft to both, more so with the thunderbolt(slightly too hefty for a phone IMHO). The screen looks really good actually. It's not as optically pleasing as the SAMOLED+ but, it is still a really nice screen. I've read how the SAMOLED screens look "cartoonish" and after comparing my TB to my Fascinate I tend to agree now. I constantly compare this to my Fascinate. I like the speaker volume, it is just loud enough for me and I've had no issues with the volume. I love having the front camera, didn't have this on the Fascinate and that should have been included(IMHO). One thing I must admit is that I have trouble with the physical buttons on the charge, just feels like it has Bozo clown shoes compared to the Fascinate and the TB. I really appreciate the capacitive buttons, I guess i got used to that using the Fascinate. The camera is really good, think that it is just as good as the Samsung, but I'm no expert. It is definitely better in detail than the Fascinate. The light sensor seems to be equal. Definitely an upgrade in that department. The speed of the phone is amazing, this phone flies. I noticed that when I installed all of my apps on the Fascinate it would get a bit sluggish, not so on the TB. It just keeps rocking, I'm not sure if that is the RFS file system but, when I rooted and installed Voodoo it was still sluggish. May have been a ram issue. I waited to root, to be honest I wasn't going to root, then the notorious reboots began. I called VZW and they did their customary walkthrough, I just said to hell with it and rooted. I flashe Das BAMF Sense 3.0, OMG!!! HOT!!! I remember the roms on the Fasicnate and it got pretty slow after awhile, mostly because of the shoddy support from VZW and Samsung, I felt that even though the Charge was a Droid it was going to still be a Samsung. No thanks, "Fool me once shame on me, Fool me twice...well, I'm not going to let you fool me anymore...hehehe." Battery life is definitely an issue with many people, yet I can get between 8 to 12 hours a day depending on my usage. he ram is good on the TB I feel, I am concerned about the amount in the Charge, as it only has 384 after boot up, toss in the useless apps and bloatware loaded and it goes down to 120 or so. The voice calls are really good, no complaints and when I'm talking to my wife and get bored, i just look for apps(Voice+Data simultaneously). Sense just works, sometimes it lags and when there are many txt messages, that will slow it down. I got used to TouchWiz, I had no real complaints other than the lag that happened all the time, even voodoo couldn't fix that.I like the personization options in Sense,as that were the main reasons for me to root. Sense has a built in manager(Scene/Skin personalization). Why isn't that built into Android to begin with?! It was in Windows Mobile?!! Oh well, regardless of that point I'm enjoying this phone. The Internet browsing is fast, I mean FAST! Hope this helps. I posted this in the another thread, but I've edited the irrelevant parts.
