When I 1st saw the note 7 at the time I thought it was the best looking smart phone ever. The software was very pleasant and I had 0 complaints! The note 8 builds on everything the note 7 was and is an overall better phone in every aspect. While the note 8 is a gorgeous device when compared to its current competition it doesn't stand out as much as the note 7 did against its competitors. I still think the coral blue and rose gold color on the note 7 still made it the best looking phone of its time.

Honestly, I found Note 8 more smooth and snappy than I remembered on my Note 7, so I totally dun miss my Note 7.

I had the same thought last year. Was thinking it was time for Samsung to ditch the home button.

I had a black Note 7 and Silver Note 7. The silver note 7 was a beauty in my opinion. The form factor of the Note 7 was awesome too. But, after having the Note 8 for a while now, it's a better phone in every way. Glad Samsung is a big enough company to recover from that mess, because if Notes were gone, I'd
probably not be interested in any other smartphone. I will say also that I think this phone is better looking in black than the Note 7 was. It's the deepest black I've ever seen on a phone. The Note 7 was more charcoal, which is one reason I returned it for silver.

The leap from the previous note to the note 7 was greater. At the time I was much more excited about the note 7. Time & technology makes the note 8 better phone, but I loved the note 7 more.

Yes I always wished my old Note phones since the Note 2 had No bezels and away to get rid o f or disable the capacitive buttons.

I am just as happy that I can auto hide the on screen Navigation icons as well. I like a pure screen experience. The Iphone clutter at the top of its screen looks terrible to me. Almost like having a thumb perpetually obscuring part of the display. Its actual unhindered resolution is even less than they advertise.

loved my note 7 but this note 8 is a true beast. Better camera, faster an better battery

They are very close but after using the 8 it seems much better very fast.
