White 5x back already discolored.

Anyones white 5x discolored from their jeans/pants? Been using my phone with no case or skin and the back around around the edges have begun to darken and turn a brownish orange color. I realize this can happen to white phones but within less than a month?!

Agreed. No spills, no raindrops, no drops etc. Ill post a picture of it later once i get another phone to take that image with. Thinking about either trying to get a replacement or return for a 6p possibly since I'm still within 30 days.

The blue back on my 5x is getting yellowed/browned. No abuse, just frequent use.

I can too say my edges started to yellow within a week. More noticeable in certain light. I put a matte black slickwraps over the back to help.

My white "panda" 5X hasn't yellowed or discolored in three weeks, but now I'm thinking about getting a see-thru case for it.

With the coating they put on the back to give it the rubbery feel I'm sure it's going to pick up dirt and cause discoloring. Clear case is the way to go. I got a Spigen on Amazon for $15.

I would like to see pics also. I get some bleed over from my selvedge jeans but it's the transfer of indigo dye (i.e. blue)

Experiencing terrible discoloration on my 5x Quartz back. Blotches of grey-brown everywhere. It looks terrible in person, everyone who sees the phone asks about it. No spills or abuse, I think it comes from hand oil permeating the back cover.

I've safely cleaned the back of my white 5X with alcohol pads. You can get them at any drug store, they usually come in a box of 100 or so:



I use these to clean gunk off keyboards and other electronics and they work well. Maybe they might help here.

I'm using a clear case on my 5X now.

Think I might go with black then. Boring but hopefully it would resist stains more and I could always throw a skin on it to make it more interesting
