Hey guys,

I have had my note 4 for 8 weeks, and I picked it up today to find a white line down the screen about 1.5cm wide, theres an app that comes from the left and sometimes it's stuck like this before, but this time even after turning the phone off and on, it's not moving at all.

It's in a ballistic case and has a tempered glass cover on, and it's not moved from my van's seat all day, and hasn't been dropped or gotten wet. I'm pretty miffed as this is a replacement phone out of my contract because there was a charging issue with the contracted one.

Any help really appreciated, :( I'm stuck.... on what to do and my husband is going nuts as this cost me £500 cash brand new.

I don't know the name of it, but this is for easy access to your apps that you choose to put there. It should go away on its own. Try reboot your device

Sure looks like a bad display panel to me. Does the line stay along that edge regardless of orientation of the device (rotate the device with auto rotation on)? If so....bad panel not a bad app...

This is what it supposed to look like

After trying everything, I've backed up and am trying a factory reset, if this doesn't work it's goosed and it's something to do with the screen, even though I didn't do anything to it :(

Nope didn't work at all, still there, and so are the new purple bubbles, contacted the original seller and lets see what he suggests also sent it to a friend who fixed the last one... :( thanks for all the help you've been great.
