Android Central Question
Two days ago, I dropped my phone in water and it got fully submerged. I took it out, dried it, and put it in rice for a while, and it was fully working. This morning at 3:00 AM, it was also working, but at 8:00 AM today, when I turned it on, there was a thick white line on the left side of the screen with very tiny purple and green lines. I took out the battery and turned it back on, but when I held down the power button, a yellow flash appeared where the white line was, and I couldn't see the Samsung boot up animation. When i got to the log in page, the screen was still black, but after I pressed the home, power, and volume keys, the screen turned on, but the white line was still there. I just completed a factory reset, but the line is still there. I have to fiddle around with the power, home, and volume buttons to get the screen to appear now.
To note: the white line is brighter than the actual background of the phone, and it seems that pressing the power button twice is the easiest way to turn the screen on.
Any suggestions?
