I would appreciate honest opinions on the level of difficulty and patience needed to do a good Whitestone Dome install on the S9+. I am a girl who always has Verizon or Best Buy do screen protector installs, but I am really interested in a Whitestone this go round.

I was one of the guinea pigs with the Zagg Curve Elite - a complete and total disaster as the edges would not adhere and it ended up lifting and popping off. Zagg reluctantly agreed to give me a full refund and I ended up going with the Zagg HD film protector. It's not horrible, but just not that smooth feeling I got while using my phone for a few days without a protector.

I checked with a couple of local mobile phone repair places about possibly doing the Whitestone install but they refused citing a liquid screen protector in their opinion is a recipe for disaster. So that leaves me to do it if I dare...

So is it really that hard?

Re: Whitestone Dome Insrall

I am girl and I installed the Whitestone Dome myself and I never installed a screen protector of any kind before. It came out great! I watched several installation videos before I attempted. It was not quite as difficult as I thought it would be, but it is definitely a process. Once installation was complete I did let it cure for a full 24 hours before transferring my information and putting a case on it.

Hope this helps!

Imo it's not that difficult but can take some time... Just familiarize yourself with the process before you start - watch insulation videos several times prior. The most important thing is to be on a perfectly level surface & that the LOCA adhesive drops dead center on your phone. One tip I can give is to loosen the cap on the LOCA prior to screwing it in...
If you take your time you'll be fine. It's well worth it imo. Feels and looks like the original screen.
