Whitestone Dome Screen Protector installed S10 plus: First Impressions

Mike, I honestly think that these glass protectors crack easily whether they've actually saved your screen or lightly fallen off my bed onto carpet. I've gone through MANY cheaper ones and purchased different thicknesses where the thicker ones lasted longer but hindered touch sensitivity. These domes aren't any different.......except price. Its the main reason I've stopped buying glass and gone back to the plastic/film type.

I can't do the plastic. I would rather no SP then a plastic one. I have been using a Whitestone Dome on my iPhone XS Max since it was available without an issue.

How is the FPS now that you don't have a Whitestone. I suggest maybe get a liquid type screen protector. I have one on my phone and after I put it on I dropped my phone at least two times. It fell out of my pocket when I had sweat pants on when I was standing up I'm 6'2 and it was a pretty scary fall for my phone. It fell on cement but not scratches or breakage fortunately.

Then I had it fall out of my fitness locker. The locker is up high and the floor is tile and it fell to the floor. Again, fortunately no scratch or breakage.

The FPS sensor has worked great with the liquid screen protector. Some people have said it doesn't make any difference from damage and scratches, some people have said it only prevent from scratches and not breakage. All I can say is so far it has worked great for me.

Wow 6' 2"!!! That's pretty close to the stratosphere. Thats 5 whole inches than someone who is 5' 9" (if you drop it from the top of your head). I'm surprised anything can withstand that kind of punishment.

Has anyone had any better luck with the screen protector and the FPS update that is currently being pushed out?

Before the update I could not get the FPS to recognize my fingerprint at all. Not even one time out of ten. After installing the update yesterday I removed my previously registered fingerprint and then scanned it again. Now it is working flawlessly nearly every time. I was nearly to the point of just trashing the Whitestone. Glad I installed the update and re-registered my print first.

Why would I care about subscribers? I went to the Whitestone site because they make the product. That's how I knew about the install added technique.

well if you saw the total number of views i could say Thao did a better job at marketing rather than Whitestone themselves...5 videos with 33.2k views from WD and 1 video with 140k views from Thao...
