Have used this product on several phones and ordered for my new Ultra right after submitting my pre-order. I had some real problems with the install and had to file a warranty claim. Embarrassing honestly.

That said, I filed and paid for my warranty claim a week ago and have not heard squat from Whitestone.

Any of you have better customer service experiences with this firm? I emailed them tonight..... Any tips out there? Just expect better with the amounts they charge. First time I have had issues with this crew.

Thanks

What went wrong?

On my Note 9 the first Whitestone Dome I had the glue started to crack under the glass. I sent them pictures and they sent me a replacement kit. I'm debating installing one on my Note 20 Ultra vs going naked since I am usually pretty careful.

I'm assuming because the device is barely a week old, they're still trying to catch up with first wave orders. As for the price, considering they're giving 2 protectors in the initial offering, you're really looking at about $2530 per glass, and then the warranty claim is only about $9 which is usually just shipping. I don't think the price is that outrageous, from my experience, because of how well it holds up and protects my device. Admittedly, my Note10+ WSD cracked within a few months because of several drops, and I didn't replace it right away because I was still able to use everything as it was. I ended up just taking it off right before I packed it up to trade in, and my screen was as pristine as it was from day 1 out of the box.

I would give it a couple more days to see if it either drives, or if they get back to you.

Best of luck!

Heck no. I contacted them Thursday night about my Whitestone Dome Glass being delivered damage, despite the fact that the box was in perfect shape, and they just emailed me close to midnight last night asking for photos of the damaged glass, which I happily and promptly provided. Then crickets afterwards.

Be sure you go on their website and claim. All you have to do is provide proof if you purchase elsewhere other than from the WhiteStone site. Once verify, you'll be prompt to pay shipping cost. Usually, it take about 2-4 days for you to get them.

I ordered my WhiteStone Dome directly from them and it arrived broken. Not only BOTH screen protectors, but the installation caddy as well!

This was a week ago and I have not heard anything from them. I filed a dispute with PayPal (thankfully I used them) and am waiting now to see what they say and if I can either get a replacement or my money back (and at this point, I am just hoping to get my money back to be honest).

I have loved them in the past, but their Customer Service is more like Customer Ignore.

I'm not buying from them again.

I did my WSD install Monday. TBH, the instructions are not all that good, a bit confusing. IMO opinion, for $60+US the instructions should be unmistakably clear with no room for confusion. I got the install done and am happy with the result despite 2 very small bubbles. One of the 2 protectors arrived badly cracked so I had to do a warranty claim. I couldn't complete the online claim without paying an additional $10 for shipping. If they don't offer to refund that I think I'll contact them about it.

The Note 20 Ultra WSD tray is sloppy and the glass can slip under the edges once you drop it down and be off centered. Mine installed perfect but is a hair off to the right. Just check and make sure your glass is centered prefect before you start curing. Just saw another video on YT where a guy installed his and it came out way too low.

Just a heads up on the install.

Yup i made that mistake few years back where it slipped under a bit , after that mistake now i know how to drop it right without slipping a bit under tray.

This is the one of the exact reasons I want to send back my Note 20 Ultra. I hate trying to get a screen protector on and I am too worries to go naked. Reason why I love my Note 10+. Its included screen protector is perfectly centered and no dust underneath

Yeah, I made a complaint about their defect on guide tray not seat all the way down and caused the screen to go beneath it.

I got my Whitestone dome. First time customer. BOTH of them came with the top right corner cracked.....very upset right now. I put the warranty in 2 days ago and it still says processing. :/

Hmm seems like lot's that order Whitestone Dome has cracked corners, which either the company Whitestone Dome had a bad batch broken or the delivery company broke them .

I received mine with one of the protectors cracked. Fortunately, I was able to get the other installed. I too am waiting for a warranty replacement. This things cost too much for so many people to be receiving damaged products. They abviously need to use better packaging.

If you're happy with a plastic film try the Ringke

Watch all the YouTube videos out there showing the installs. That's how I got better.

My WSD x2 pack came with the screen protectors in good condition but I'm a bit worried now about the cradle being sloppy.

Any way of checking by dry fitting 1st

i.e sit the phone in the cradle and go through the fitting process but without the glue to see how it seats itself on the phone's screen.

I've fitted quite a few of these and the cradle has always been OK !!
