Who else is getting their DX shipped on August 3rd?

LOL I think that coming to this forum is the worst way to forget about the Droid X. Just makes me want it more!

I agree coming to this forum makes the waiting harder because it is always on your mind, but I just still keep reading more posts. Hoping my DX ships tomorrow.

I posted this on another thread here that I started...But when I talked to a wonderful, helpful CS rep, this is what he told me:

If you ordered your DX between July 16-July 26, your DX will be shipped no later than August 3. But he also mentioned that those who ordered them between July 16- July 20 are definitely getting shipped this Monday, July 26. He also made mention that those who live on the western side are getting theirs delivered a little earlier than expected since it is getting shipped from CA.

Just got an email saying that mine has been shipped. I ordered mine on the 22nd and was told that it would be shipped on Aug 3rd. I guess my birthday is coming early this year. Yeah me!! So excited!! Anyone else received an email from Verizon saying that theirs is shipped.

My husband hasn't been checking his email but I call CS everyday...and that today, it has finally paid off! The rep I talked to told me that our DX's were already shipped. He even gave me my shipping number. I know they dont ship on the weekends but then the rep told me that it should be updated by tomorrow (on the FedEx website).....This is getting way too exciting!!!!

I ordered my X on the 22nd but it was not till late when I got it ordered. Was just wondering those of you that ordered yours on the 22nd was that early in the day or after work??

I have not received any email saying it has been shipped. And I checked my order status online and it just says:

Order Status: Your order has been processed and will be shipped based on inventory availability and shipping method. You will receive shipment notification and tracking details via email.

so please tell me there is some good news here somewhere? I am going crazy waiting for my new X.

I ordered mine on the 20th; Received shipping notice on the 22nd and received it on the 23rd with the free overnight shipping along with all of the accessories I ordered for it.

Not too shabby on Verizon's part and they said my unit would ship by the 3rd as well.

I ordered mine at the Verizon store just before closing (9 PM) on Friday, July 23rd. I am moving from a Storm 1 after I received the text stating that I could upgrade without penalty. I was late to the Storm party - got it September of last year - Storm 2 came out in October. I wasn't happy...

Hopefully I will get it this week like a lot of you all...

I just got confirmation that my order is shipping out today and that I will receive it tomorrow.

So ordered it thursday and and getting it on tuesday not great but not bad. Sorry for those of you still waiting.

I am getting mine tomorrow as well and I am PUMPED!!!! When I ordered mine last Thursday they said it would come Thursday and it is actually coming Tuesday! Great news for me! LOL I am coming from the storm1 and I can't wait to have a phone I don't have to reboot once a day because my memory disappears.

OK Update...Ordered on Thursday afternoon over phone, had it billed to account,7/22.....Sunday afternoon recieved email from VZW on shipping 7/25....Shows it should be here on Wednesday by 7pm7/28.....In Connecticut for thos wondering.....

Ordered mine late Friday (07-23) on line from Verizon (paid full retail) and got my email notification this afternoon that it shipped and I'll have by 3PM tomorrow (Tuesday). Luckily, I live about 1 mile from my FedEx distribution center, so I drove over there and they said they would hold it for me to pick up at 9AM.

sounds like a lot of storm users coming over to the X. i just ordered mine yesterday. finally giving up my awesome storm 2 (or at least it was last october). hope i will get an earlier ship date than 8/4 like all of you!
