Who else leaves mobile data disabled?

Just for kicks, I tried turning off mobile data and relying purely on WiFi. I have WiFi at work and home, and most places I go out to have it as well, so far I've gone 2 days and 0MB used on mobile data. At first I was worried about things like notifications or social media, but they all come through when I connect to WiFi as I drive around in the car, and with Snapchat I can still attempt to send a snap, which fails, but I can resend it when I am connected to WiFi.

I'm curious if anyone else has tried this long-term, and if so, how little data were you able to use in a month?

I personally don't. I like all my notifications and things to come through right as they happen versus waiting till I am in the proper area or WiFi range. I like being connected at all times .

But how does this affect MMS? Regular texts would be fine... but pics?

Im thinking about moving my mom over to Fi on my 5x once the new phone comes out... she wont want the data costs at all.

They wouldn't work till data was turned on.
