Who got it?

Got mine a couple hours ago. I cam from a regular Razr Maxx to the Maxx HD. Improvements everywhere! I'm liking it a lot. No complaints so far.

Picked mine up this morning. They said I was the first to get one at their store. Love it so far. The rep even found a way to keep my 4 gb data plan.

While I like the clock widget with battery level I went back to Battery Indicator Pro. I'm not digging my whole home screen being taken up by a widget.

I snagged one on the way home...upgraded from the original RAZR. The battery life just wasn't cutting it on the old RAZR...and it was getting sluggish. This feel great so far, but haven't really messed with it.

Hmmm great question. I'm honestly not sure about with retail pricing since I did it as an upgrade. I think that if you do it through Verizon either way, I'm sure it would work for retail the same way it works for upgrades. It doesn't hurt to call and ask them the same question. Good luck!

Yes it works on full retail. Got both a galaxy nexus and s3 that way

Gonna try out the battery over the weekend if I am not as impressed with it as I want to be I will switch for the Maxx

I really want this phone but I want the Note 2 too. Any of you guys wanted the Note 2 but got the Maxx HD instead?

Not at all.

720p HD Screen, 3300 maH battery, 4.7" screen is a great size to have, quick, and very Vanilla ICS like.

I feel like driving to VZW right now!

I drove through heavy rain and traffic on my way home from work just to get this phone. I would have gotten home quicker but the exit I had to take to Verizon added an additional 20 minutes because of all the stop and go. You know... those morons who can't drive in the rain so lets all come to a complete stop?

In addition, unless there has been a massive change, Moto's got the best radios. A phone has to be able to do the phone thing after all

Radio has been solid as a rock for me despite it actually showing less bars on the status bar than my HTC incredible 4g in the same places and general areas.

Right now I'd have full bars or one less at my location but the data performance is the same if not better (also it's a more powerful device).

Did the Incredible have ICS? The bar readings were changed from Gingerbread to ICS.

Agreed this thing is virtually plain ICS. Blur is minimal, they weren't kidding.

I'm loving it and it feels great in my hand. The Kevlar backing gives me excellent grip and I don't feel like my phone will drop from my hand.

Picked mine up at about noon today... Haven't been able to put it down since. Beats my iPhone in every way!
