Got my MAXX HD today (October 18; haven't slept yet even though I'm posting this October 19). I went into a 12 hour shift at work with a 45% charge (no time to fully charge before work), and with heavy use during breaks and lunch it got down to 1%.

Over half of my battery will be left when I get off of work if I go in with a full charge. My old D2G would have died about lunchtime. Ecstatic about my purchase!

I got mine today. This phone is what the iPhone should have been. There is no reason why apple can't make the improvements in design that Motorola has with the RAZR maxx HD. Awesome phone. I love it. Apple lost a customer for lack of design improvements

Sounds like everyone is happy thus far. I know I was shocked after making it through the entire day without a charge. I started at 730-8am with the phone at 100% charge. I used it heavily all day going thru its paces, etc. I fell asleep at about 11pm. My phone had 34% of battery left. I was streaming some music and at some point thru the night it died, LOL. Almost 24hrs! Crazy! Now if I can figure out what controls the NFC beam.. this is all new to me? Is there an app or does it only work with connecting to another NFC enabled device?

Nice. Takes me back to the days of z4root and my dX. Nothing wrong with using the ol laptop to root but you can't beat right on the device.

I had an iPhone5 for a few days. Let's just say I wasn't impressed. Sold it for $700 and got a RAZR M. The M is a better device than the iphone5. I had to pay some bills so I returned the M and got a RAZR maxx off of Craigslist. Then I found out that the maxx HD released.

Must click and hold both buttons at the same time. Works every time for me.

Yep have to hold it down, I was letting go too fast!
