Who got the new non-GB update ATT released?

My phone had a notification "Device Management" and "Connecting to DM Server..." and it has been that way some time. I searched for that and found a thread on google that said it is related to AT&T updates.

Since nothing had happened for some time I went to the "software updates" and tried to run that. Instead of the normal message about no update, I just get a brief pop-up message that says "No Firmware", and it goes away.

after disabling wifi I got the brief update.

Got it last night , installed no problem.

Anyone have any details on what this update did ?

Check this out. If you tried to update it and it didn't work, go to settings> applications> manage> all> and find device management. Then clear everything and then go try to get the update again!

It's a bug fix update. Nothing major.

I just got the update. Took less than 10 minutes, including reboot.
I went and disabled wifi, shut down the phone, brought it back up and checked for updates and away it went. This is a replacement phone so not rooted yet. All stock.

Anyone noticed better wifi since then?

I've only moved locations once, but it kept it when it often used to lose it in the past.

I tried turning off wifi and it still wont update. my phone is stock rom not rooted. my phone never did the update before this one either.

is there a setting maybe i turned off or something that would not let it update? I got my phone day of release.

I manually down loaded it right after I saw it on this site no problems (stock rom). Call me crazy but I seem to be getting better battery life. Have not seen better wifi but mine was good already. But I do seem to be getting better radio reception. My home area has not been great in the past but speed tests now are much better. Still not "4G" even though ATT coverage map says we have it.

where can u manually download it from? I asked for that in a previous post.

Mine won't do that at all. my phone didn't even download the small update prior to this one now. thats why i was asking if it could be a setting issue on my phone or something else.

I got it this morning. Downloaded no problem. Haven't noticed anything different, except for the fact my battery drained faster today than normal.

After reading about this update, I turned on the wifi to help with the download speed and it stopped at 47%. Turned off the wifi and the DL resumed and installed without any issues... FYI

got it on Friday morning about 7:10 am.

I am running stock rom and I am not rooted.

It is also interesting to note that I am using my infuse on a ATT MVNO, I do not have direct ATT service.

Still got the update. Hopefully I will get GB the same way.

got this the other day. besides adding the book app, att says it fixes call holding issues, stability, gps fixes and some other minor bug fixes. At least thats what they put on csp.

Is it a coincidence or did this small update help the GPS signal? I tried a map yesterday and was surprised at how fast the GPS signal was acquired -- and I was even indoors!!

Didnt notice ANY change in Wifi Signal or Maps response time :/
