Who has successfully done the data2ext?

If you're looking for more internal memory on your V, give this a try.I installed this a few days ago and everything is still running smoothly. I got a boost of about 60 megs on internal memory. Only drawback is that it replaces the LG boot screen with a Sprint boot screen and takes a little while longer to boot. It does not change any other boot animations.

Setup your ext partition. Then flash this: [Script][A2SD]Darktremor 2.7.5.3 Beta 04 [N1] (01/29/2011) - xda-developers

Then use this app to manage what you want on there and off: [App] Link2SD - xda-developers

You don't have to use both. Either one will work, but the Darktremor A2SD transfers everything over and installs useful tools like ext2->ext3 and ext3->ext4. While Link2SD requires you to move items individually and can't format. It is a good combo. I use it on Rodimus.

I was under the impression that they wouldn't work together. Only one of either at a time, am I wrong? I'm sure I read it in the app description on xda

This might be resurrecting an old thread, but did anyone ever locate an e2fsck binary for Android 2.2? I tried searching and found one that does not work though, it was for an older Android release I think.

If there is a binary out there, I'd love to find it.

I found e2fsprogs here, contains the e2fsck binary.
