Google should have given them free with pre-order though. I really thought they would have, I think every other year there was something they included (the home and daydream are two I can think of)

Yes definitely. One of the reasons why I'm glad they moved to glass for the back and got away from that horrible Pixel 2/2 XL build.

I love the Pixel 2xl back. I've dropped my phone multiple time son concrete (no case) and have yet to break a screen because it does not have glass back. The only problem with it is how slippery it becomes when you work out.

I didn't like it at all. Metal is great, but covering it in a coating that looked, felt, chipped and scratched like plastic isn't.

Glad they've gone with the glass - the overwhelming response is that the Pixel 3 feels far more premium than the Pixel 2, and the Pixel 3 has wireless charging.

True but I think I'd take scratching and chipping of a thin layer of coating vs the rear glass cracking.

I have one on the way from Best buy, was not that interested since my house is already filled with wireless chargers. Got it since bought two cases off best buy and adding a third accessory gives you 25% off the entire order.

As I posted earlier, I have one on the way from BB also. Should be here today. I have dealt with BB for years and been satisfied with their service/prices. A deal here, a deal there, they all add up over time.
