Who is waiting for the S26 Ultra?

What I hate about carrier deals is they will give me say $1100 for my S25U as a trade in for the S26U.....but only in bill credits for 36 months. If you make any changes to that line or swap esim or sim card then it could void that bill credit. If i want to upgrade to say the S27U then I lose money from the cost of my S25U trade in deal.

That is pretty tight? 36 months to finance a phone?

Half of my upgrades was through carriers, the latest was my (second) Flip 6 I got last July for $5 for 24 months and $350 in-store credit. Deal was too good to pass hence why I bought it again after selling my launch phone.

This the phone I'll be trading when the S26 drops. Hopefully, Samsung Canada brings back the $915 credit. LOL

I saw something yesterday and as it's getting closer I keep seeing confirmed specs which we know most but it said something about big reveals once it gets closer like their is stuff not allowed to be announced yet I don't know. Like Ice Universe they say knows and is always right. I wonder if their is certain things he's not allowed to say yet. I'm still wanting to see more cases. Those that are getting one will you put a screen protector on or not? We ended up never getting one for our 24 1st time I haven't had one on a phone.

I'm planning on going to pay off my S24 Ultra hopefully this weekend since I only owe about $568 for it. Worse case I can always trade up and get the 25 Ultra if I don't like the S26 Ultra or it's to much even with my trade in. I had also thought about possibly getting the 25 Edge only because I'm almost ready for a smaller and lighter phone for a change.

How long will Samsung keep the 25 Ultra on their website after the 26 is released? Only saying just in case the 26 is too expensive and can't afford the new monthly payments and I decide to pick up the 25 Ultra. But my luck it'll be sold out like they already did in the 512 GB for T-Mobile and only available in Black which I'm tired of.

I just read an article that the 26s are now rumored to not have the qi2 magnets. Anyone else hear that. People were commenting you can't have it cause of the pen. Guess we'll have to wait and see. Not really a big deal I guess. I have a magnet ring on my case now for my magnetic car dock so I'll still buy a case with a magnet ring.

if it will be shipped out on March 11th, i'm wondering how many days we have (if we bought directly from Samsung.com) to test and transfer data and ship it back to Samsung? i will be traveling, but someone will be here to accept the package, still, how many days would i have to test/transfer data and then ship it back to samsung? i expect to be back home on March 17th or 18th, that's already one full week(!) from the date they ship out or the date we receive it! yikes.

wondering if i'd be cutting it too close?

Note: read the fine print and make sure they aren't charging a restocking fee (outside of the 14 day window) for a return.

From other's replies it looks like you have about 2 week return window. So given your time frame you should be good!

Trade-ins are similar with 15 days to send it in from the date when your new phone arrives, NOT the date they send the email with the return box label (I've almost always got that email before the phone has arrived.)

I think it's usually 14 days which is what others said.

thank you all for your input/info re: when i need to send in my trade in phone after receiving the S26 Ultra.

gosh, that means that while i do have just enough time (roughly 6 days after i get back home, i have to send my S25 Ultra back as trade in), i can't waste any time right after i return. must start the Smart Switch data transfer right away and get the S26 Ultra up and running quickly so i can ascertain whether it is a working phone or it has issues.

It looks like the reservation date is on February 11th. No storage upgrade but some markets may get 60W charger. Wondering what the trade-in values will be this time.
