One of the things I've recently been using my Note Pro for is to watch TV (not necessarily live TV shows) but broadcast TV live as it happens.

My cable provider is a little late to the game but they recently released a mobile app to watch cable TV on a device. Mine is limited to only watching TV while on my home router but it's still great to be able to prop up my big screen Note Pro while I'm doing dishes (yes, guys do dishes too) or lying in bed (only have one TV in our house). It's handy if someone is already watching the main TV and you want to watch something else.

Anyway, I thought I'd throw this out there to see who else does this and maybe some of you will find a new use for your new "big screen" TV.

Same here. Media consumption is my primary use, whether it's hulu, YouTube or my cable provider's streaming application. I spend my mornings catching up on late night TV while shaving or making my coffee/breakfast. The note pro is an excellent video playback device since it can be taken anywhere. I love that the screen size is large enough to give you that big screen feeling when it is close to you.

We've been using the optimum cable app on our tablers for a long time, usually at dinner, cnn or something like that. In bed, for an old movies on youtube. We stored away our portable tv that used to be in the kitchen.

I watch F1 Racing, football or whatever on my TV and cartoons on my 12.2....lol.
A movie on Vudu or Netflix on the note with headphones is a great experience also.
NFL playoffs start in like 2 minutes and cartoons on my note shortly after... I'm retired on disability so golf and other stuff has been replaced with passing the time checking out media or gaming on my note.
This baby is nearby most of the time and I'm grateful it is or I'd be in quite a Pickle!

I just got mine and I love it. I just watched an NFL Game through Gamepass and it's awesome. Netflix is great as well..... Beautiful screen etc etc, etc.....
