This is the area I think LG can improve on. They've done a great job with getting their devices back on the leader board. Now they need to show some love and support their phones

When I picked up my G2 the difference maker was LG had announced it would provide major updates for its flagship phones for two years. If they follow through I'll be buying LG every few years going forward I'm sure.

As now see because it's so prevalent on the internet I assumed it was official but I can't find anything regarding an official announcement, my bad just have to wait and see I guess.
