Who's active with a LG G6?

Meh i hate getting involved in "bad posts" i did report one a while back and it got closed by the moderator i asked (thread was basically pure cancerous). I didn't mean like real insults either sometimes people are passive agressive and that gets me ALOT which is why i don't like saying much since i'd go on a rampage if i did Otherwise i feel more at home here than i did in the s8 forum tbh. People seem more open minded here to discuss features. Already replied to a thread on the s8 forum because someone was saying that because of samsung pay everything else in the market is basically ****e...... He did have a couple other points he made but they're all subjective (ie: iris scanner,wireless fast charging etc) won't name the thread of course but i can't just ignore these closed minded individual (plus, i wasen't the only one who told him he didn't make sense lol) Not everyone is an ahole but samsung gets too many erm...... idiots ? on their side i think. Maybe i should've taken the trusted member upgrade i was offered a while back who knows

But to be fair.. if he thinks Samsung pay is fully worth it and due to that feature it makes it the best phone.. how is that wrong? I see some here say the LG is the best due to UI and them hating TouchWiz. Does that mean they're close minded?

That's no different then many LG fans who swear by removable battery otherwise the phone is bad. Are they wrong? That answer will vary by opinion.

Basically.. people are posting opinions in the S8 area about the S8. That doesn't make them closed minded because you disagree with said opinion.

Also not sure what trusted member has to do with anything you said so can't comment on that.

I think I kinda get what you're trying to say with your points somewhat. The vibe in this section is a lot friendlier and helpful. Many Samsung fans have become a lot like iPhone fans these days lol. It's still come a long way in the past few years though and we seem to be getting past the brainless "Apple/Samsung sucks, my phone rules" insults thrown around.

I think I kinda get what you're trying to say with your points somewhat. The vibe in this section is a lot friendlier and helpful. Many Samsung fans have become a lot like iPhone fans these days lol. Yeah sorry i have issues with explaining myself i have trouble finding the right words (and probably the right way to writte them sometimes too) Pretty much what dov1978 said is what i've been trying to say. I mean yeah everyone's entitled to their own opinion but there's a way to share said opinions and bashing everyone without making sense does not compute in my books (i haven't insulted the guy i tried to make him understand that he needs to construct his opinion better just like i should)

Yeah some don't explain it fully but him saying "other phones suck because I like X feature that this phone has" really isn't that bad.

I just wanted to post about this here because the irony in your post was off the charts in the sense of you said they're insulting each other and hostile but you come over here to bash and call them idiots... .

Kind of a not so productive thing.. but also it's not cool to bash other members who post elsewhere . Just report a post if there is an issue.. or just ignore it.

Yeah i didn't report it since the Op wasen't the one saying bad things and it wasen't directed at anyone precisely so nothing really agressive there (like i said people on there are in the worst case passive agressive) And yeah i know i'm ironic alot of times but i don't hate opinions per say. I just hate ones that are badly expressed (ie : saying that phone is better for 1 thing and everything else sucks/is bad or a direct downgrade) these i can't if you want to express yourself fine sure no issues but at least try to add to the conversation adding arguments and stuff to talk about. That one guy didn't do any of these.Sure i can get behind critism but at least make some logic out of it. I like alot about the g6 but i didn't and never will say one phone is better than anything since it's too subjective to make sense. If it's fine with everyone else fair enough but i can't standby and watch them make no argument over it and basically say the g6 is bad because it dosen't have samsung pay (which no sh** sherlock it's a lg g6, not a samsung phone). '

Overall if you're gonna comment an opinion in public at least add some arguments and reasons behind it otherwise you make it look like free hate for no apparent reason, and that's what gets me the most : lack of logic. Someone that loves his devices and can make arguments as to why it's better yeah i like these since they attract debates and real interesting stuff.

All other phones are flawed the S8+ is flawless and the Note 8 will be flawless. And this is just my opinion. You are to serious..

An opinion is an opinion. We don't have rules that you must "include x,y, and z to post an opinion or don't post" so.. yeah.

My main issue is coming to another forum to bash others because you don't agree and to sit there and call them idiots after you called them the hostile ones. That's the not cool part.

Also checking in. I switch between my MXPE and G6.

The only thing I really miss about my MXPE (gray/black model) was the dual front facing speakers. Man those were good! My wife still uses the MXPE (white/bamboo) and my 13 yr old son now uses the platinum G6; I have the black G6. But the MXPE was great.

Agreed. Front facing speakers are great.. and great for speakerphone calls.

G6 owner and fairly active.

I travel alot and at airports I noticed most people have iPhones. makes me sad. I used to be an iphone user too, but G6 and Android is so much better.

what's even sadder is I've only seen one other G6 owner so far.

In my department at work, I think I am literally one of four people who have an Android device. The other fourteen all have them, it seems. Not that there's anything wrong with iPhones, but I feel like there's often a bit of peer following and status symbol association with that brand.

I agree. Alot of people see apple and iPhones as a status symbol which makes no sense to me. I see cars more as status symbols.

Again I'm not a apple hater. My wife has an iPhone, and a MacBook, and my kids have iPads and a Mac desktop computer. But for me, iPhones are just too boring and not customizable. I see iPhones like a Toyota Camry, (can you tell I love cars haha). It's a safe bet, easy to use, but not the least bit interesting.

I definitely agree with you. I sometimes wouldn't mind trying one, but I know the lack of customization would drive me mad almost instantly. I am constantly changing my experience in some way, so Apple would be limited for me in that regard.

I came from an iPhone 6 plus to the LG G6 and still have the iPhone 6 plus as a backup phone. I occasionally use it to find a file or picture I need and then realize why I gave up iOS and iPhone. It's so locked into their ecosystem and you have to learn how to work around the iOS "way of doing it". And don't get me started on iTunes to download my mp3s....
