Yesterday was my daughter's homecoming. We took a lot of pics on her G6. It was a gloomy rainy day here north of Detroit and the pics turned out great.

When we bought her phone there were no display models. I had to ask for them to get one from behind the counter (they only received 3 total for sale). Now I'm looking for a V30 for myself and it's the same deal. Not one display unit no matter where I go.

I really think LG had made a few great phones here with the G6 and the V30 they just fail miserably at selling them.

Haven't replied in a while. But unfortunately after using the Samsung S8+, can't see myself going back to the LG G6

However, my entire family, including my two boys are now using iPhones or iPod touch and imessage. So when I'm out of town for work, it's much easier to be on iOS, to message everyone, so back to iPhone 7 plus. Gonna sell the S8+ since it's fully paid, and keep the G6 as backup phone since it's on the $15/month AT&T deal I got...

How am I brainwashed? Apple knows they have something with iMessage. My wife sends me alot of pics of my kids when I'm gone and quality is never downgraded also, when 3 people in your family uses iPhones and you're the lone Android user it is quite lonely

And btw the Samsung S8+ is far superior to the LG G6. Once you disable the bloatware it is crazy fast and smooth.

I got a used IP7+ on eBay for $560 shipped. And it's the 256gb one. Should be here tomorrow. Only has a few scratches on the back.

I have had the G6 since just after launch and it's still working great.

What made you leave the S8+?

Mainly the screen, wasn't a fan. Irritated my eyes, the pinkish or blueish tint i hated, couldn't find a decent screen protector and it scratches easy. After a couple of replacements decided it wasn't for me, interface wasn't my cup of tea also. It was between the g6 and s8+ when i first chose it so bad decision there but Battery was spot on and smoothness. Although this g6 is doing great in those terms ATM. Love the feel and look alot more.

Finding a good screen protector for those curved screens is definitely hard. I went from the Priv to the G6 and have thoroughly enjoyed a flat screen more.
