Whos getting Flip 4?

It was all just there in the browser, I did nothing special. I didn't think using Rakuten would disqualify a manufacturer discount.
Well I messed up on something. It wouldn't show up for me so I gave up. This is great info for those who still want to take advantage of it.

Ordered one for my wife once the site was stable. Purple, some cases and a wireless charger with the 100.00 credit. Came to 99.00 plus tax with trade-in.

I went for it at $94 plus tax but the Tax was $60. They must tax you on the price before the trade in or on the free items

Not sure about that. I paid $7.28 tax on $99.99 and that includes the Watch 5 for free which was listed at $309

I'm considering the flip4 but is there really that much of a difference from the flip 3? Battery should be better but what else?

According to tom's hardware,.. "The Galaxy Z Flip 4 is undoubtedly better than the Galaxy Z Flip 3. While the hardware's not changed much, the toughened body, more versatile cameras, larger battery, new chipset and more useful cover screen all seem to be worthwhile upgrades."

I decided to upgrade from the Flip 3, hard to resist the update when it is only $94 after trade in, so ordered the Blue Flip 4. I also used some Reward points I had to bring the price down a little more (about $15) -- so under $100 after tax. I didn't order anything with the $100 credit, so I'll look again when they add it to my account in another month.
To me it's a no brainer to upgrade from the flip 3 for the battery alone.

I feel like the cover screen will come to the flip 3 as it's clear that it's just software.

Grr went to bundle the blue 44mm watch 5 with the blue flip 4 and the Bluetooth version is no longer an option. I can only get the lte version. Can the lte version be used just as Bluetooth or do I have to get service thru carrier?

Some states do require that sales tax be collected on the pre trade in value. You should be able to check your State Department of Revenue website under the sales tax section to verify.

Ended up getting the lte version of the watch 5 44mm in blue with the blue 256gb flip 4 with free case. Trading in flip 3 for $900. Getting the watch for $37.99. Flip 4 for $99.99. Total after tax $208.86. Said I had a $200 credit when checking out and when I added watch it went to $37.99. Not complaining lol.

Considering how NJ taxes pretty much everything I'm surprised they don't factor in the before discount amount.

I had to do a bit of research bc I ordered the LTE but I do not want to pay for an extra plan for my watch. You can use the watch by connecting with just Bluetooth and ignore the LTE. I actually cancelled my LTE version and ordered the Bluetooth one instead.

Finally heard back from Sammy on the sales tax, they said oHIo law says I pay state sales tax on the entire amount before discount.
Never noticed it before but never bought one for $94 after trade in.

I don't have good luck with oHIo taxes , I bought a 2013 Avalon Hybrid to do my part saving the planet , in 2016 they double my tags because
I am not buying enough GAS . Gas tax goes for road repairs.

I have a shipping label at fed ex from Samsung and it says should arrive by August 23rd!
