Who's getting one of the Galaxy Tab S9 tablets?

I actually bought my first tablet last year for a great deal when I bought my S8 with the S22+ at the same time. I owe less than $200 on it after 15 months of paying on it. The deals will always be there. I'll probably keep the Tab S8 for a long time as there's little to no reason to upgrade right now.

I have a Tab S6. Samsung will give me $250 for a trade in. I'm thinking of upgrading to the s9+. The Ultra is too big for me. There is not much difference between the Plus and the Ultra.

I love my Tab s6. Great little device. Use it every day.

I bought the Tab s8 Ultra with keyboard case. after its release. Gorgeous tablet but too darn heavy for me to use anywhere but sitting at my desk, which is where my PC is. I don't need a tablet at my desk, so it doesn't get used much. (Oh also works on the treadmill. Again, not much usage. ) Bad call on my part. If I had to do it all over again, I would get the s8+.

So I think you're wise in going with the plus model if you feel the Ultra series is too heavy.

Samsung is slated to end security updates for the Tab s6 this year, if I remember correctly. This is probably a good time to trade it in! $250 sounds pretty good.

I went ahead and ordered the Tab s9 Plus. I really love the size of the Tab s6, but as you mentioned, Samsung will end the security updates for the S6.

I also use my S6 every day. I use it for light reading and watching videos from time to time. It is a great device. I also have an iPad Pro 11 with the M2 chip. I rarely use it. That was last year's iPad release. I'm hoping to have a good experience with the Tab s9 Plus.

I bought the ultra with free double storage. I traded in my tab 3 for $500 value.
The ultra has 1 tb storage and 16 gb ram. I had an issue transferring my Samsung messages from note 8. Tech support was useless. I fixed issue by installing messages by Google on my phone and tab 6. It brought all my Samsung messages into Google app.
Now I need to find really good protection for it. My solo case zipped up and worked for
tab 3 and 6 and is great protection. I use top otter for my phone.

I think I'll try Samsung Switch to send over phone and text info however the tablet is wifi only sonI won't be able to call ot text anyone.

My tablet is wifi only. It can text just have to use messages by Google now. But it brought all my Samsung messages in. I did try smart switch but didn't work. Probably because I have old note 8 phone. I also got a free book cover too.

Why not use the old ultra as an extension monitor for your laptop or desktop?

You pair the phone with tablet and Google uses ur cell # as long as phone is on.

If you are using Google messages, you can just use messages on the web. You just have to link your phone to the tablet using a web browser. Your phone doesn't need to be on after it is linked.

In Canada, Samsung gave me $500 for my S6 - 256GB so I traded up to the S9+ / 512GB. My friend traded in his Tab S2! and got the same trade-in value LOL

I pre-ordered a TabS9+ through Samsung but I'm going to pick it up ay my local Best Buy. I don't trust delivery to the house ever since I ordered a laptop and wasn't home for the delivery. When I got home the box was leaning against the door for every passer by to see a box exact shape with company name plastered across it!
I guess I'll be waiting a few extra days.
I got the case with it. This will be my first tablet. I bought a cheap 3 in 1 Lenovo like 5 years ago and realized I used it soo much, why not have a nicer screen at the very least
