Who's it going to be?

I think with LG and Samsung having really really good cameras in their phones, It'll be hard for the Nexus 2015 to be a really compelling device without an excellent camera.

It's pretty much got to have all the bells and whistles that the S6/G4 have, but most importantly, it's got to have kick-*** software processing. From my understanding, the Nexus 6 has a good camera, but not a great/excellent camera. They can't get away with that anymore.

If they want to charge $600/$650 US, that's fine, but it has to be worth that much.

Latest rumors. Looks like Huawei is making the next Nexus and it will be a 5.7 in. Screen. If this is true...a lot of you are going to be disappointed.

if true I'd really be disappointed that Huawei is making it, I just don't trust them.

I would def like a 5.7" display though, that'd be perfect IMO

If they stuck a 3000mAh battery in the Nexus 5, they'd have a winner....especially for users who don't much care about the latest developments in tech. They could make a lot more money out of that device. :)

I am loving my nexus 5, but also Huawei makes good phones.
So I hope that Huawei, but that is not as big as the nexus 6

I know this almost certainly won't happen, but I would love to see Samsung back in the Nexus game. Samsung definitely knows how to make the hardware.

Agreed. Samsung hardware w/ a pure Android experience (and a Sammy camera) = a lot of damn Win.

The problem with that is Samsung doesn't want any phone outshining their precious Galaxy series....knowing full well Nexus won't outsell them. But it would be awesome.

I've had blind tests show people picking some shots from the Nexus 6 over an iPhone 6+.

Companies such as Samsung or LG have really good cameras because it's paired up with great photo processing software. Other companies include really good cameras in their phones but the software lets them down. *cough* nexus. The next nexus device, whether it's LG or Huawei, need to make a decent camera application for the phone. This would be perfect, as a large group of consumers are steering clear of nexus phones because the camera software lets them down.

I really don't care who makes the next nexus phone, it WILL be a great device even if it is Huawei, but some buyers may get put off by the brand.

This leads to the point, what is it about Huawei that people do not like? They released fantastic phones (P7, P8, Mate7, just to name a few) and they're available for a reasonal price. Yes, they are a Chinese brand but what isn't to trust about them? Samsung and LG are Korean, HTC, Acer and Asus are Taiwanese. Are they successful companies? Well one thing's for sure, I'd say so. Hell, even I would pay for their top of the line devices! I know Huawei are a great brand but they do not make the right decisions with their choice of internals.
