who's leaving android to iPhone 6 or 6+

Other way around for me.... I'm just tired of being be hide on everything. Trust me I was a real apple Fangirl. Was 3rd in line to get the iPhone 5 when it was released. But I'm so bored with this limited phone!!

Galaxy s5 here I come!!! 😉

Ill dig my old nexus 4 out and show it off when the 6 starts showing up, otherwise ill keep my S5 thats waterproof with an slim upscale case not a cheap plastic lifeproof that all the premium metal iphones will be in

Yeah, people are REALLY going to switch despite this XD

For some the OS is still better despite the lack of some of the features Android has. And the specs there are irrelevant. The iPhone 6 (and it should be expected) destroys the Nexus 4 in performance.

OMG! haha. I rock a S5 ... I sent this picture (the one comparing the new iphone 6 to a 2012 Nexus) to my GF right now cuz I always mess with her that iphone sucks and Galaxy is better.... Irony in it all? I sent the pic and when she opened it her iPhone, her phone froze hahaha. YES! ANDROID, GALAXY! FTW!

I just switched from Apple to Android in April and couldn't be happier; I was with Apple for 5 years. Honestly I thought the iPhone 6 announcement was pretty underwhelming; they made it bigger, added NFC, a little bit longer lasting battery and slightly improved camera… other than that nothing stood out. Part of me thinks even Apple knew it was underwhelming so they announced the iWatch as well even though it won’t be available until next year. It’s kind of funny, a handful of coworkers are talking about which model they placed a pre-order for and joking with me about how I must regret switching now that the iPhone 6 is here. I didn’t bother pointing out that what Apple finally added has already been available for a few years now.

I have used exchange since 2003 and honestly the iPhones have been more solid with exchange than any other phone we have had. Androids use to be unreliable with syncing. Most corporations use either blackberry or iPhones due to how secure they are. I work for a large financial institution and actually the 2nd one and both had iPhones as their primary mobile devices while android was not allowed.

In my company's IT department, there is not a single person using an iPhone.

They're standard for other employees, though. We have a choice. And given the problems we've had with them, no one chooses an iPhone in IT.

We run Exchange 2010 from Windows Server 2008, and iPhones will not play nice. A user setting up their email with their username and password (mobile account enabled in Exchange and all server settings set correctly) will sometimes not be able to connect. It will actually lock their accounts because of "bad" passwords that are not entered incorrectly.

The other folks in IT have zero problems with the S5.

I'm not. I am ordering a 6+ to go hand in hand with my OPO, and G3. Only 5.5" phones for me, thank you.

Leaving Android for an iPhone 6 or 6+ would be like saying goodbye to a hot spouse that gives you all the freedom you want and going to live with an average control freak of a spouse. Who would want that? Not me!

I have the S5 and love it. I did hear that the 6+ sold out on the pre orders .

Galaxy Note Pro 12.2

I'm getting the 6. And as far as being so much more expensive. It isn't. And when I go to sell it in a year the resale value is a lot more for an iPhone than an android. Oh and I've been using an LG G2 which I think is an awesome phone

I've been using Android since the G1 was originally released. However, I preordered a 64GB iPhone 6 and will be passing my beloved HTC M8 to my wife. Why would I do such a thing, you ask? Curiosity, plain and simple. I am not abandoning Android - one of my lines will be eligible for an upgrade under AT&T Next in 6 months. If I really hate the iPhone, I'll sell it and get the next HTC flagship (if it's out by then) or possibly the next Nexus. The great thing about iPhones is that they retain high resale value, so I won't be losing much money, if any at all.

I am for sure. Ditching this S5 and going back to a phone that actually works.......

Can't send videos via text message without hosting it, are you serious? So 2005.

If the New Moto X hadn't been given such a nice upgrade, I might have switched to an iPhone 6. But as it stands, I'll be sticking with Android.
