The Galaxy S5 benchmark score is still higher than the iPhone 6, as it has been tested

Could be a rooted android made to look like an iPhone
Link? I haven't seen any official benchmarks for the A8
I bet you're not using iOS 7.1. Gridlock still works with iOS 7 and below.
Here is the iPhone 6 Benchmark
iPhone 6 A8 GPU benchmark suggests it's behind the curve - GSMArena.com news
So because you paid $100 on contract that means that the S5 is always $100?
There are plenty of people who buy the iPhone on contract. And there are plenty of people who pay $600 for the S5 outright. You have to compare the contract prices to the contract prices and the full retail prices to the full retail prices. Not what you paid with what people you know paid.
That is only one benchmark. And it's still not 100% confirmed to be the iPhone. In any case, the iPhone 6 is more than likely smoother in real world usage than the S5![]()
Sorry, my friends who are preordering told me the $499 was with a contract, thus the onfusion. Maybe they're upgrading mid-contract or something.
So yes, in that case the price difference is not significant.
For the 128GB iPhone 6+, it is. But the base model is very similarly priced for both devices
Ehhh thats likely, but only because of how the iOS is made to run on the iPhone using less processes at one time compared to Android which runs more processes and background programs at one time
I bet if the S5 and the iPhone 6 both had the same OS and running the same programs, the S5 would run smoother and faster![]()
The opening price of the iPhone six is $700
The opening price of the iPhone six plus is $800
Both more expensive than the opening price of the S5-$600

Yeah they're all getting the big one because they all have ginourmous music collections and you can't really add more space later.

Well of course a device with better specs will run better than one without great specs when on the same OS. All other things being even of course
