Who's not using screen protection?

yeah, I agree that screen protectors are largely useless - especially on glass-screen phones. Anything nasty enough to scratch gorilla glass is probably nasty enough to break the screen outright.

Honestly, get the insurance on this phone for at least the 11 month no-upgrade/no-extension period.

Yeah the insurance is well worth the money. I got a new Storm after I dropped mine in water for $50. I think, if I remember my contract correctly, it costs $89 to replace an incredible which is still $10 less than the NE2 + contract price. So it's well worth the money in case the unavoidable happens.

I got a skin on my phone. Sand will still scratch it.

No screen protection on mine. Went without it for over a year on my storm and never got a scratch.

I took off my Skinomi today because after 7 days it still had enough of those "microbubbles" to be annoying and i had screwed up a corner of it anyway.... I remember that the naked screen seemed to feel better but the cover really did smooth out after a few days. BUT i will DEFINITELY be putting a screen protector back on tonight (trying Phantomskinz) for one simple reason: smudges! Just in the short time i have gone without it, I realize i forgot how smudgy the screen gets. For me, that is the reason i'll use one.

I never used it on my storm and was only waiting on the Siedio for its anti glare anti smudge qualities but I swear to you that I just discovered a group of small scratches this morning when cleaning my screen. at first I thought it was just something on the screen but after vigirously trying to get it off I realized it was scratched. It is small and not really a big deal overall but it really bums me out. Gorilla Glass my @$$; I am careful with my devices, my tour and Storm 2 are still in like new condition and this one got scratched. Color me bummed.
