Who's ordering the S25?

Do we know please if Samsung's web store will be selling S25 Ultras during the Unpacked event even before the event ends?

Thinking we may order at that time to beat the rush or frozen site issues due to the volume of users.

I'm most likely going to pre-order but I don't think i will be able to until later in the week at least

i somehow clearly notice the lack of comments and enthusiasm this time around for the S25 series! someone else thinks there is a lot of enthusiasm, but i don't see it! there are clearly fewer comments by far!

I'm pe-registered. I'll probably be ordering. I try to convince myself not to every year, but we all know how that goes. Lol! Hoping they offer something good to use the $350 credit for.

Hi @EazyD33 :

like you, i also pre-registered. however, i can't figure out where your $350 credit comes from! i saw they said $50 credit. where does the other $300 come from please, may i ask?

i'll try to order during Unpacked, if they open up pre-ordering that soon.

thanks in advance!

Sadly, the credit will be towards things I don't really need. I mean, sure a couple of Samsung cases would be nice but for $50-$70 each, I feel that's such a waste.

Or you will probably be able to use it towards Buds (I have too many sets now including Sony, Jabra and Bose). Or perhaps it's towards a Galaxy Watch (I have the GW6 Classic AND the GW7 Ultra).

I would much rather use that credit towards getting the larger memory/RAM combo but I'm sure that's not going to happen.

I think Samsung will see relatively flat sales on the S25 series, and hopefully learn a lesson to stop trying to reproduce the same product and expect people to stand in long lines to get it. They're not Apple and we're not Apple Fanboi's.

Dear All:

i've been using the Spigen Liquid Crystal Designed for Galaxy S24 Ultra Case for the last 2 phones, the S24 Ultra and the S23 Ultra, iirc.

i MUST use a minimal case in order to use a PopSocket due to hand surgery as the PopSocket's adhesive won't stick to the phone's back.

however, Spigen has NOT yet come out with the S25 Ultra Liquid Crystal case! maybe they will, maybe they won't. i would like to have a Plan B case ready to go in case Spigen doesn't make one for the S25 Ultra.

the minimal case should be minimal but strong enough so the phone's weight won't cause the case's back side to flex while holding with the PopSocket, and i would much prefer it to be totally transparent/clear, i.e. no embedded glitter or anything else, just minimal, clear, sufficient strength to not flex too much. i do NOT need it to protect my phone, but merely to stick a PopSocket to it strongly and not have it flex.

may i please ask for some options? thank you all in advance!
SG24U, I use "Case Mate" clear- (pearlescent) Several options, then installed
"Love Handle Pro" back with magnetic barrier kit to prevent problems using SPen. I cut magnet to fit just the holder & use very strong double face tape.
Cannot hold phone without it.
(Note: "Case Mate" is so rigid, it is difficult to get off).

Also, I will tell you I'm on my
4th set because of its plastic hinge design.
Not happy, but since it works so well for me, I Finally wrote "Love Handle" They were more than happy to replace this Pro Kit
ALL THE WAY.

I am now Careful to not stress hinge mechanism (area) if I can help it. Excellent feature - to stand your phone up - but part of the reason it wears out quickly.

Still, a beastly phone - For my small hands - luckily long fingers.

Though it is work setting up, it's worth it if you need solid help holding a larger heavy phone. IMG_20240609_164533.jpgIMG_20240609_164533%20(2).jpgIMG_0440%20(1).jpgIMG_0444%20(2).jpg

i know what you're saying, but still, getting a credit for accessories is a freebie, better than not getting a credit for accessories.

Anything possible

Look at this way
The s24u has everything the s25u has except the new chip.

S24U
Titanium frame
Same battery
Flat screen
Anti-reflective screen
7 years OS updates
Bluetooth Spen

@mustang7757 :
i remember that last year, you also told me you weren't buying the S24 Ultra and then 1 or so days after Unpacked, you bought it and i asked you about your decision! haha.

Your right!
But I'm not this time around, I still could pull the trigger
@mustang7757 :

oh come on! you're our fearless leader! you have to empathize with all of us so you must have the S25 Ultra in order to fully empathize!

i tell ya, i'll have one browser window open to Unpacked, another browser window open to samsung.com. the moment pre-orders are open, i'll pre-order. then, there's a fighting chance that my order will get shipped out early on ; )

btw, i think your list of "same features" has one error:

haven't they told us that the S25 Ultra will have Gorilla X? X being the next bigger number from last year's version of Gorilla glass? i think so!

hah! @mustang7757, now you have no choice! :P

Only thing I'll lead you guys is into spending more money

I have explained in my previous post that s24u has everything the s25u has expect the new chip , so

If I do jump this year it's not about a better phone but I like Newest tech .

In all my years of trading my 1-year-old Samsung phones for newer models, I’ve never had a deal where it was “free” or “almost free.” It’s always something like $300 to $600! That’s definitely not free!
In my case, I buy through my carrier, AT&T. They have the "free" trade-in deals. What we do pay for is the tax on the full price, and the first 3 months of what the monthly installment would normally be. Then the "credits" kick in from the trade in making it essentially free from then on until the installment period is done.

So, last year, I pre-ordered the S24+ 512 GB model using a screen shattered S20 FE as the trade in. In my case, I had to pay a little over $100 for the tax, then $35 for the next three months after the phone was delivered. By the fourth month, April, my installment (with trade in accepted) went to $0 and has been that way since.

Since I don't plan to leave AT&T - after over 20 years, why would I - and I do plan to keep this phone for at least 4 years as I typically do, I think it's a good deal.
