yesWhen you get the unlocked phone from Samsung, you're just installing the SIM from your previous device into your new phone and everything will still work with your carrier?

Hi @EazyD33 :I'm pe-registered. I'll probably be ordering. I try to convince myself not to every year, but we all know how that goes. Lol! Hoping they offer something good to use the $350 credit for.
Sadly, the credit will be towards things I don't really need. I mean, sure a couple of Samsung cases would be nice but for $50-$70 each, I feel that's such a waste.I'm pe-registered. SG24U, I use "Case Mate" clear- (pearlescent) Several options, then installedDear All:
i've been using the Spigen Liquid Crystal Designed for Galaxy S24 Ultra Case for the last 2 phones, the S24 Ultra and the S23 Ultra, iirc.
i MUST use a minimal case in order to use a PopSocket due to hand surgery as the PopSocket's adhesive won't stick to the phone's back.
however, Spigen has NOT yet come out with the S25 Ultra Liquid Crystal case! maybe they will, maybe they won't. i would like to have a Plan B case ready to go in case Spigen doesn't make one for the S25 Ultra.
the minimal case should be minimal but strong enough so the phone's weight won't cause the case's back side to flex while holding with the PopSocket, and i would much prefer it to be totally transparent/clear, i.e. no embedded glitter or anything else, just minimal, clear, sufficient strength to not flex too much. i do NOT need it to protect my phone, but merely to stick a PopSocket to it strongly and not have it flex.
may i please ask for some options? thank you all in advance!
Anything possibleIm taking bets that Mustang caves and preorders
i know what you're saying, but still, getting a credit for accessories is a freebie, better than not getting a credit for accessories.Sadly, the credit will be towards things I don't really need. I mean, sure a couple of Samsung cases would be nice but for $50-$70 each, I feel that's such a waste.
Or you will probably be able to use it towards Buds (I have too many sets now including Sony, Jabra and Bose). Or perhaps it's towards a Galaxy Watch (I have the GW6 Classic AND the GW7 Ultra).
I would much rather use that credit towards getting the larger memory/RAM combo but I'm sure that's not going to happen.
I think Samsung will see relatively flat sales on the S25 series, and hopefully learn a lesson to stop trying to reproduce the same product and expect people to stand in long lines to get it. They're not Apple and we're not Apple Fanboi's.
@mustang7757 :Anything possible
Look at this way
The s24u has everything the s25u has except the new chip.
S24U
Titanium frame
Same battery
Flat screen
Anti-reflective screen
7 years OS updates
Bluetooth Spen
Your right!@mustang7757 :
i remember that last year, you also told me you weren't buying the S24 Ultra and then 1 or so days after Unpacked, you bought it and i asked you about your decision! haha.
@mustang7757 :Your right!
But I'm not this time around, I still could pull the trigger
Exactly my experience.In all my years of trading my 1-year-old Samsung phones for newer models, I’ve never had a deal where it was “free” or “almost free.” It’s always something like $300 to $600! That’s definitely not free!
