Who's Ordering The S26

I traded in my S24Ultra for the S26Ultra 256GB in Cobalt Violet unlocked from Samsung. Got $800 trade in for my old phone. The total was $499 plus tax for the new one. I just purchased the phone. I'll get my case and screen protectors elsewhere. While I wait for my phone to arrive, I'll do some research on the power adapter, since the phone only comes with the cable. I was a little disappointed I there was no double storage offer but I don't really need 512GB of storage. I am barely using 70GB right now. But I am excited for March 11! Woo hoo!!

A while back there was a Woot deal on 60 watt charging adapters but they were dual and I didn't want that but I got two for $25. And of course if you use both plugs it's 30 and 30 but if you just use one it's supposed to be 60 and they're by OtterBox. I figured that was pretty good. And I always order these braided cables off Amazon that are long and so are cats can't chew on the cables so I need to order a couple of those and I'll be good.

Right now I think Amazon has the best deal. Free upgrade on S26U from 256 Gb to 512 Gb, a $200 Amazon gift card and, if you have an Amazon Prime Visa card you get an additional 5% off your final purchase price.

That's great $200 will get you chargers cases. And they do trade in also correct? I wonder what they're giving for the 24 Ultra. That's a good deal also! I was wondering if there's going to be a separate thread here for accessories. I need to start case shopping.

I preordered and paid full price since they wouldn't accept the Fold 7 for trade-in. I like the Fold device, but missed my S25 Ultra. Someone mentioned call screening, and I really like that and hope it's as good as the Pixel phones'.

I've never had a pixel phone but two co-workers do so I'm going to ask them today about call screening after a couple people on here talking about how good it is.

When I pre-ordered the S25U 512 GB, I cancelled it a couple of times to get max rebates and incentives (which got me below $500 total out of pocket)

Other than no trade-in, I can see going the Amazon route for S26U. I'd pay with Capital One card to get $270 off instead of Amazon Prime CC 5%. Big advantage is "30-day refund/ replacement" policy. I'd check the fine print on that one!

I've never had a pixel phone but two co-workers do so I'm going to ask them today about call screening after a couple people on here talking about how good it is.

I never had a Pixel but I wonder if their cameras are as good or better than the Ultras.

I'm all about the cameras lol. So much I put my Z Fold 7 in a drawer after a few months and back in the 23U.

The pixel camera is better but not video and zoom is a toss up but I think that will change with the s26u for point and shoot

Hi everyone!!! I'm still on the fence about this one (first time ever lol). I can't decide if I want to get it, I'm leaning towards the s26 ultra white 512gb and trading in my s25 ultra. It would be about $500 with credits and I'd use the $50 PayPal code too. Ugh decisions.

I had the s23U which was a wonderful phone, but last year I changed it for the s26U which I didn't like at all, with the promotions I paid for it almost immediately. Yesterday I made the decision to change it for the s26U and they gave me $1100 credit for the 25, I will end up paying about $190 approximately. I know it wasn't the best, I could have waited for the 27th, but the damage is already done.
The decision was inspired by the purchase of the s26+ for my wife, I have been trying to change the Z flip 6 for several months which she never liked, and they only offered me $500 for the exchange... Until yesterday they gave me $1100 and the 26+ was about $190 and for me it was wonderful.

I've never thought it makes sense to upgrade a one year old phone unless the changes were major or you can get the upgrade for almost nothing. $500 to go from a 25U to 26U? For privacy screen and call screen and some AI gimmick? Ugh.

Someone had suggested to me on another post but those that really have to upgrade every year, maybe that ATT Next Up plan really works out for $10 a month than $500 every year.

Yeah, if it wasn't going to be a present from my husband, I'd probably pass but I don't do purses, shoes or anything like that, I like phones I'm still debating. I'm lucky I have the option if I choose to upgrade.

Hey!! I cancelled my pink 512gb. Honestly I'm just mad to pay over $500. It's the principal for me. There's not THAT much of an upgrade and to take away dbl storage and give $30 is just ugh! The $50 Paypal credit helps though. Idk...when in doubt, leave it out.

I'm still on the fence, I'm not rushing since it's not even out yet. After I skipped the pixel 10 pro xl preorder, I don't feel I need to rush to be the first to have the phone. I haven't ordered anything yet, still looking at deals to see if it's worth it.
