Who's pre-ordered and what phone are you coming from?

I have a feeling I will try the maxx, g2 and moto x.. hopefully by then either a) I will like one or b) the nexus 5 will be announced or c) ill stick with the gnex (provided its still in one piece)

What don't you like about lg phones? I've never had one. I can understand not liking the buttons. I want to try those in person. It seems like almost all of the specs on it beat the Max except for the battery which I also want to try in person.

It's not always about specs for me. Sometimes I want a good UI or features that other phones don't have that I think I would use. Dual front facing speakers, Active Display, Droid Zap! Stuff like that. The G2 just doesn't do it for me.

Nothing against lg.. I am just lucky enough to be able to spend a few weeks with each phone before I decide. I am an AOKP fan so that may help the final decision.

A few corporate stores by me are telling me that the Droid Maxx may not be available in store until the 22nd. Apparently the date keeps changing on them. This may make sense though as it may be shipping to stores in the 20th just as its shipping to customers initially too.

I've had the Droid2, Incredible 1 and 2, Thunderbolt, Razr Maxx, Note 2. I'm currently using the new BBry Z10....and HATE it. Can't wait to get back to android.

My credit card was charged yesterday so I assume the phone shipped or is about to. Seems to be on schedule for the 20th.

Quick update - Just got the "shipped" email. Delivery date is the 20th.

My dads account was eligible for an upgrade today and I ordered my phone. Can't wait to see how much Motorola has improved.

I ordered mine from from Wirefly and I am counting the battery pulls till I can be rid of My Samsung Galaxy Nexus.
What really pains me is that my $300.00 Nexus is now only worth $22.00 if I have all the stuff that came in the box.
