Whose hasn't shipped?

Still no charge here. And no status change. At this point I'm guessing my pre-order will arrive well after I could have just walked into my local store and picked one up.

I wonder if it's too late to cancel and just do that?

I think I am in the same boat as well. Ordered 6/22. Ship date 7/11 However for me it was through work which is how I have to order my phone. So I will wait it out. I drive right by a Verizon corporate store every day. If I had the option of picking it up there I would. Would be easier to boot (not having to worry about missing the Fedex driver).

I probably could make a stink with our account rep at work and possibly have the option to pick it up in store but it is a huge hassle and not really worth it to me.

I am anxious to get the phone too but nothing I can do but wait. Sucks Verizon doesn't seem to be filling them first come first serve. I would probably be annoyed if I ordered the first 2 or 3 days and still didn't have at least a tracking number. But for me all the ever promised is it will ship by 7/11. I got overnight shipping so I will probably get it two days after I could at the store.
 
Did you pay retail, if so thatis an option. I would probably wait it out through the weekend and cancel Monday and cancel, if you are confidant the store will have them Tuesday.

That is what I would do if I wasn't concerned about my unlimited data, which I am on the fence about.

I am not telling you what to do, my strategy might be bad, but I am in the same boat, no charge yet, ordered on the 29th, but told my plan wouldn't change because of other issues I was having.
 
ya I dunno how they are charging but I didn't buy until 7/3 and my card was charged yesterday at like 7pm. 16 gb white Atlanta ga
 
Ordered 32g Blue on 6/14. No charge, no email. Starting to get pissed as I see people who ordered the 32g Blue days after me getting their phones.
 
I put in an order online on 7/1 ( a little late, but I still had the ship date of 7/11 )
I got an email last night around 7 saying that my order was on hold:

Your order is scheduled to be processed. Average processing time is 3 days. You will receive a confirmation email when processing is complete and your device has shipped.

Many people received this message on the forum and said that it's usually related to credit cards not allowing the charge to go through, so I called as soon as I was free to do so around 11:30 PM EST. I got through to the tech department and they told had some trouble getting access to my account information but when they did, they said that my credit card was declined. I tried to see if they can change the payment method to a different card, but they have no power to do so in the tech department and the CS department was closed for the night.

So I ended up canceling the order and put in a new one as suggested by the tech rep. I ended up getting a shipment date of 7/24. I canceled it right away thinking why would I wait that long if I can just walk into a store and get one?
I just called a couple of the local Verizon stores and the sales reps say they are not sure if they are receiving any GSIII and that even if they knew, they're not allowed to disclose the information.

Long story short: Account was on hold (problem with CC) , tried canceling and putting in new order (new shipment date was way too late) , canceled that second order but now I'm not sure if I can even walk into a store and get one on the 10th.

HELP!

EDIT: I forgot to mention, I'm not on unlimited since it's actually cheaper for my family to share data. So I don't need to worry about losing my unlimited, I just want to get my hands on the new phone as soon as possible!

I don't know if I would cancel a pre order. My guess is if u do, your unlimited data is gone since you would now be ordering after June 28th.
I'm still waiting for mine that I ordered in a store in Illinois on 6/24. I'll gladly wait a few days to keep my unlimited data.
 
I'll have to check my credit card, I actually paid on the card as soon as I ordered it.. so If they didn't charge for it yet then I guess I'll have a credit :) Yup my card has a credit on it still. hehehe

I called yesterday to check the status and was told it would ship late last night or early this morning (Saturday). I explained that I am leaving for a ten day trip early Tuesday and no one will be around to sign for the phone or pick it up for me. Later in the day I dialed 611 and went through the automated service and it told me it had been shipped, received and activated. I called back and was told it was not shipped and would definitely be shipped early Saturday morning and I would get it by Monday.
I just called back (Saturday at noon) because there was no change in the update and customer service switched me to the internet shipping department which informed me that they do not ship on the weekends and my phone would be shipped on Monday and I should get it on Tuesday
I did thank them for lying to me at least twice about being shipped on Saturday.
I have three lines with Verizon. I have been with them from the beginning and coincidentally as of Monday the 9th all my contracts will be expired.
So my phone will be sent back because no one will be there to get.
 
I ordered two on 6/26. Just got notification the one is being shipped with tracking number. The other hasn't been charged or shipped. Whats up with that?

I placed my original order with BB on June 5 and was assured many times throughout the month by Verizon that my unltd. data would carry over. It wasn't until June 27 that a Verizon agent told me I would lose my unltd. data and I placed an order with Verizon. I called Verizon 2 days ago and was told no orders would be shipped till July 11 (again misinformation). I called Verizon again today and they could find no record of my order. After keeping me on hold for 10 mins. they found my order and told me it had shipped on 6/27 and would arrive by 7/11. My CC has not been charged and when I check on order status all I get is ship by 7/11. Frustrating! Can't rely on any info given by Verizon.:(

My order status now has a plus sign that when you click on it reveals the courier, ship date, and status but all are blank. What does this mean? Is this a good sign?

Same status here. I just talked to Verizon, and they say it *should* ship by Tuesday for Thursday delivery. I told them to note that this customer of 25-year standing deserves better than lies about when it's coming and delivery of a pre-order after it arrives in stores and after people who ordered it later than I did received theirs. The CSR was nonplussed.

I'd urged anyone who has received no info at this point to call Verizon, because the CSR told me they're on back order "for a while." Take what they say with a grain of salt, of course, but I'd check it out.
 
Ok. Mine finally shipped. I am tho upset that they used FedEx 2nd day air. 100% of my previous orders threw Verizon have been next day air via UPS.
