Why am I able to see the photos is Gallery in Samsung Galaxy Note 2 but unable to transfer it to my PC?

I am able to see the photos is Gallery in Samsung Galaxy Note 2 but unable to transfer it to my PC.

The photos aren't appearing in the PC in the pictures folders. Nor I am able to transfer the photos to SD card. I am totally stuck. Could somebody help to find out what exactly is the issue.

Welcome to Android Central! Are you connected via USB? Using Windows Explorer, are you looking at the directory called Pictures? The Camera app doesn't save photos there--it's /DCIM/Camera (or sometimes /DCIM/100MEDIA on certain phones).
