Why am I getting a Music Playback Error after a factory reset?

Music Playback Error

I have a Blu Studio 5.0 phone I bought a few weeks ago. Everything was fine until yesterday. I downloaded some music and when I tried to play it I kept getting the message Music Playback Error. I can stream it as I'm downloading it and play it once through the downloader but after it's done downloading I get the error message. This started yesterday. My old music plays fine but anything I download now won't play. I have downloaded several players and music downloader, did a factory reset, installed AVG Antivirus, Clean Master and CM Scan and no viruses were found. What else should I try?

Welcome to Android Central! From where are you downloading the music? It sounds like it isn't Google Play Music.

Is there a DRM function to limit a file to a single play?
