Why am I getting the error message Error processing purchase. [DF-BPA-30]?

Error processing purchase. [DF-BPA-30]

I tried googling this problem, but all the threads I found have "BPA - 10" or "BPA - 09", not "BPA - 30". I followed the instructions for those other errors (except for deleting my account - I don't want to lose all my contacts and texts) and I'm still in the same boat.

Also, if I do a complete back-up and restore, I might still have the same problem.

The apps that are on the phone have no problem updating; I just can't add new ones.

Any help would be appreciated.

Don't know what happened. But this worked for me: Login in the Google on the PC, go to the Play-store and choose a app there, download it and register for the phone. After that i could download on the phone again.

But it could seem like that it was actually the same time they fixed the problem...

Same here, with both my Nexus tablet and my Huawei smartphone. I guess they latest Goggle update has caused some hiccups!?

I have also the same problem right now, i switched accounts and now its werking again in my Google play, i think ist only the accounts with credidcards that stopt working, the accounts not linked to any of this works i think ???? HELPPPPPP

Yep, just people with credit cards are in trouble. Because someone tried to hack Googles Server and get the CC Informations. My girlfriend, without a card, can download everything perfectly.

I'm glad I'm not the only one with this error - I'm running Android 4.4 on a Nexus 5 & Nexus 7 and have this problem for more than 6hrs. Like most people I've tried clearing the relevant cache for Play Services and Framework etc, but I'm hesitant to do any sort of reset as of yet (seeing as quite a few people are experiencing this issue). The PC workaround didn't seem to work for me, which is a shame. Wonder if they've picked up on this yet....

Interesting - weirdly enough, there are some apps that I can download with my primary Google account (Wikipedia is the first example I can think of), but I have a secondary account that I might try to use (to download one of the apps that i could not with my main account) and see what happens.

Same here the problem started three hour ago I think its a problem with the play store itself I have tried everything nothing is wotking, better soluation is to wait till tomorrow hopefully they would solve it soon

Aha! At this point, the question is not who has been hacked, but who hasn't....It's ridiculous. Security in the cloud is increasingly scary.

NB---I wasn't trying to BUY anything, just update apps in the normal course of business.

Just create a new Gmail
It works
Go to setting
Go to Accounts
delete the Google Account
Create a new google account
