Why am I getting the message, Unfortunately, the process com.google.process.gapps has stopped.?

Why am I getting the message, "Unfortunately, the process com.google.process.gapps has stopped."

I have rebooted my phone several times and I am still getting these messages. I can still function my phone, but ever few seconds, the message ops up again. I have a galaxy s2, but I am unaware of what model it is. I simply need to know how to stop these messages and fix the problem. Please help
