AC Question

I recently switched from the iPhone to Galaxy S7 Edge and was trying to manage mobile data for selective apps. However, when I choose a particular app in mobile data settings, my phone does now allow me to access the App Settings, also the Restrict Background Data toggle/option is missing. Is this something to do with third party apps? Please help. TIA

Welcome to Android Central!

I know that some system apps won't allow you to turn off the data connection. Are you going through settings, applications, application manager, find the app you want, and then tapping data usage and at the bottom toggling off the data for that app?
