Why am I unable to open a preferred network type?

unable to open preferred network type.

hello, i need some help. i am using huawei y560. i want to use 3g but the option of preferred network type is unclickable and i can't open it plz help me. how i can enable it or is there is any other way to change from 2g to 3g.

I have tried shortcode which is *#*#4636#*#* but it doesn't open anything. Plz help me

Hi, i have the same problem with my Moto G. Its grayed out...stuck in 2G :'(
