Why am I unable to receive emails?

Can't receive emails

I can receive emails on my phone (nexus) tablet (nexus) and HP desktop. My Galaxy tablet has stopped showing any emails after 12 noon today. I have received about 15 emails since then that show up on all the other devices. Hope someone can tell me what may have happened! Thanks

Welcome to Android Central! I assume you're using the stock Email app on both devices, right? On the Samsung device, try removing the email account, then adding it back again.

Thanks, I thought about that but it said that if I remove the account it will also remove all my contacts, etc.

Took a chance and did it anyway...seems OK now. Many thanks. If only everything was that easy!

Good to hear. As you've probably already seen, as long as the contacts are syncing from the account, they will just sync back after you add the account back.

Yeah, it was also my problem to sync or something would be wrong so I just keep trying.
